Thornwhisker entered the camp, and collapsed. She gasped. "Thornwhisker," she yelled, leaping off the Sunrock and attracting the Clan's attention.

As I exit the medicine cat den, I hear loud, raspy coughing. My eyes widen when I find that it's Thornwhisker. Quickly, I run to the elderly tom. When I arrive, it's already too late. Starclan was calling him. I see the last bit of life leave his yellow eyes. He was such a wise cat, and his stories inspired me so much. I lick the top of his head and whisper in his ear, "May your journey to Starclan be well." He's gone. Thornwhisker is gone.

"Sure,that's fine with me." Graywhisker nodded, smiling gently before turning his head to see Thornwhisker had collapsed. He frowned and looked down at his paws.

Spottedtail rolled her eyes as she continued to eat. "Why do you have to,be so rude? I came with you willingly. You should be grateful, since I'm practically helping you, you foxhearted fool."

Thorntalon ignored Spottedtail ' s outburst and ate his mouse.

She dipped her head to the tom-cat. "He was a great cat," she meowed.

She hesitated after seeing the look on Honeypaw's face. Thornwhisker was dead. She looked at Graywhisker. "Maybe we should stay and help with his ceremony..."

Hearing the meowing, I grunt and stand up. I don't need to drag myself anymore. Clumsily, I walk up to the crowd of cats and see Thornwhisker dead. How did this happen? Thornwhisker was very dear to me, he gave up his beloved Moonclan to join us as an Elder when there weren't any. Slowly, I close my eyes and say my prayers. After I'm done, a silent tear slides down my cheek. He joined when I did, and he helped me so much and gave me advice. Even when I came back, he knew I wanted revenge and told me not to out of his wisdom. No one will ever understand our bond. Due to him, I will no longer plan to kill Thorntalon. That is the least I could to honor him.

Softfeather lay stretched out on the soft, springy ground beneath her. The she-cat flicked her tail casually back and forth while she looked about the camp before heaving a sigh. She got up and padded lightly to the camp entrance before slipping out and into the forest beyond. The warrior immediately picked up the scent of a squirrel and took off to track it. It wasn't long before she found and killed the small critter. The she-cat padded back to camp and set it on the fresh-kill pile before grabbing a small mouse and laying down to eat a small meal.

Raven flicked his ears at the new sounds and began to squirm again. The young kit had an attack on his senses at the new smells and sounds. Raven unsheathed his claws and began to claw wildly at the air as he tried to get a hold of something.
