So my best friend cosplays Hohenheim(and Ed & Al), and I cosplay Trisha, and we cosplayed the Elric family one time and now we always refer to each other as though she's Hohenheim and as though I'm Trisha.
She went to a con on Saturday as military uniform!Alphonse in a miniskirt, and we had this conversation beforehand.
We were talking about buying stuff from cons.))

EDIT [18/Feb]: I just remembered... yesterday I said "magical HagaRen" IRL and instantly regretted it. Bonus points for the fact that I pronounced it like "har-gren". (For the uninitiated, HagaRen is the abbreviation of FMA in Japanese.)

Sorry for double posting, but this thread only gets replies when I'm asleep. DX

I've been looking at the lyrics of Melissa a lot recently, trying to figure out just what everything actually means. While I still don't understand how "feathers; counter for birds, rabbits" works as a verb, I did find out something interesting! One line is (as translated by FUNimation) "come on, and pierce through my heart as it yearns for your love". I looked at the Kanji on the site I linked to, and I learned that the word they used for "heart" can mean, among other things, "feeling" (if you're interested, it's 胸, which can be read as "mune", and a less ambigious word for heart is 心, "kokoro"). Now that line makes a whole lot more sense! Also, cruel irony much?
