the intro

once upon a time, in an ancient land which name has long since forgotten. lived four fairy tribes. earth, air, water, and fire. but one day, four young fairies, one from each tribe, had a dream. this dream told them to find the source or there magic, the fairy's song, and to save it. but the only clue they were given were pendants. these pendents would show them the way. an ancient prophecy, tought to each fairy child, is about to be fulfilled. but, would it be in the way you would think? either way, it would change these four fairy's worlds forever...

a flame, a seed, a droplet, a breeze.
together they make the one.
the one makes the many.
the song of fairies failing for the last

Isabella

izzy was singing and playing in a meadow in her dreams. she was flitting around the flowers and grass. below her, her sister sasha was running happily, not using her wings. suddenly, she was transported to right in front of a tree. a pretty, slow song was in her ears. she landed and looked around. "what in the world?" she muttered. suddenly, a male voice boomed in the forest, " isabella knight." she looked around warily, " who are you?" she asked quietly. " that is not important. you are to find the tree of life. and to revive the fairy's song." the voice boomed. isabella tilted her head. " but how will I find the tree?" she said quietly. " this pendant will show you the way." the voice said. a small green emerald pendant appeared in her palm. she started down at the tiny thing. suddenly she awoke. she was in her bed. she sat up and looked around. the pendant was sitting in her hand.

Tucker

Tucker was asleep. he was dreaming of flying through the air on a powerful air current. then, the breeze stopped and he was still. a male voice boomed all around him, "Tucker Thompson Jr." Tucker looked around. " what the..." he muttered. "find the tree of life, revive the fairy's song." tucker looked around. a slow, pretty song was ringing in the air. he kept turning in mid-air. "the pendant will guide you." the voice said. a small clear, diamond pendant appered in his hand. he woke up in his bed suddenly. he held up his hand. the pendant was hanging from a chain. the dream was real...

Kary

kary was alone in the forest, listening to the birds sing a melody that was slow and pretty. a male voice soon chased away the birds, saying, "Kary Mason." kary looked around. " what?" she whispered to herself in confusion."the tree of life. find it. bring life back into the fairy's song." boommed the voice. kary just looked puzzled. "use your pendant to find it." the voice said as a pretty blue, sapphire pendant appeared in her hands. she awoke moments after in her home. she clutched the pendant closer to her chest. what was going on here?

Mason

mason was, as usually in his dreams, in a volcano. but this time, the volcano was going to erupt. he was trying to flee. but the world around him paused. "Mason Drogno." said the loud male voice. mason looked down at the lava. he escaped the volcano. and he looked around. " who is there? how do you know my name?" he called quietly."that is not necessary to know. you will lead three others to the tree of life and bring back to life the fairy's song."boomed the voice. "this pendant will show you the way."a small ruby pendant appeared in his hand. he awoke, sweating, in his bed. he got out of bed and splashed his face with water. he looked at the pendant. was it really there? he could hardly tell.

Isabella

isabella was eating breakfast in her home. she yawned. last night had been weird. but now, she was ready to deside what to do. she dressed and pulled her long brown hair into a pony tail. she flapped her wings lightly then went outside. she lived in the woods, like any reasonable fairy from the earth tribe. she fluttered out of her treehouse and went to the ground. there, the other earth tribe fairies were already working to collect acorns and berries and other food for storage, seeing as it would be winter soon. she sighed. work first, thinking later. she fluttered up to the job station and picked up her nametag. she was one of the berry cutters. she went to a bush and started cutting the thick berry stalks with her sharp sword's blade. her partner and sister sasha was standing below her with a basket made for catching the falling berries. as izzy cut the berries, her sister caught them. fairies came and took each berry away.

Tucker

tucker walked outside of his home in the field. he flew up to a station in a tree near the field. there, the others were gathered around the job board. he picked up his job for the day. collecting pollen. his least favorite job. he went down and got the baskets and started towards the flower field. he got there to find the others already working. he took his scraper and scraped the pollen off of the flower and into his basket. he filled up his first basket before many of the others even got half of there's filled. he filled his second basket and, having filled his quota, went back to his house to change out of the pollen covered clothes.

Kary

kary was outside with the morning crews. she was gathering water for the big freeze. it was coming and the water tribe didn't want the whole of the fire tribe to be without water. they collected it in large barrels made of leaves. she put a barrel down next to her last one. they were collecting only fresh water. that way, the other fairies would have stuff to drink and wash in during the big freeze.

Mason

In the volcano, the fire tribe was busy preparing for the big freeze as well. they were collecting lava in lava-proof containers made of volcanic rock. these would heat all the fairies houses while the freeze was happening. granted, they would have the volcano. and they would be doing this round the clock from the big freeze until the big melt. but the other fairies were counting on there lava to heat there homes. so that was what Mason was doing. he wasn't out there collecting lava, his favorite job. he was making lava containers. his least favorite job. he sighed as she finished his 3rd contanier. a fairy came and took it away. he so envied there job for the day. but tommorow he would be the one to collect lava. he sighed and started on a fourth one out of a large chunck of volcanic rock.

Isabella was working on the last berry of her quota when a shadow grew on top of her. the other fairies flew away as a large berry fell directly on her wing as she tried to escape. she fell to the ground, stuck under the large blueberry. someone above her yelled in surprise. a berry cutter had accidentally worked right above izzy. surrounding her was a group of the earth tribe. she was hifl stuck under the berry, but most of it was on her wing. she fell unconscious as they started calling for help.

Tucker

people outside were yelling. tucker flew outside in some new clothes. A kid came up and looked up at him. " one of the berry pickers from the earth tribe almost got killed by a berry!" he said frightened. he ran off to join his friends. tucker looked startled. he ran off to where the office was. the lead fairy was calling out, " we need someone to bring the fairy some of our spiderweb bandages. who will go?" he called. Tucker watched as everyone else kinda backed off not wanting to go. " I'll go lead fairy." he said coming forwards. the lead fairy handed him the bandages. " they have moved her to room 11 after getting her from under the berry." he told him before he flitted off. he got to where they were keeping her. it was a dead tree used as a nursing facility. he walked in and told the fairy at the front desk where he was going before going there. laying on the bed in room 11, was a pretty, young earth tribe fairy. he brought the doctor the bandage and went to sit by her. he looked at her wing, all bent out of shape and only half wrapped in bandage.

Mason

Mason looked up as his superviser came up to him. " go bring these minerals to the healing house. room 11." he said gruffly, handing him a small package. Mason nodded and flew away. he flew out of the volcano and down into the forest. he got to the healing house, in a dead tree, and went inside. he got to room 11 and walked in. he found a young air fairy sitting next to a bed, with a young earth fairy in it. he handed the minerals to the doctor and went up to the air fairy. "what happened to her?" he asked sitting down next to him.

Tucker

tucker looked as a fire fairy came in. he watched him pass along the bag with what he assumed was the minerals the fire tribe was famous for to the doctor. he nodded a greeting. " apparently, from what i heard, another berry cutter was careless and forgot to check if anyone was below him, and cut the berry. apparently it fell onto her wing and broke it." he replied looking over at her.

Kary

The head of the collection center went up to Kary. "bring some water to the healing house. they need it to make some mineral water. " she said. Kary nodded and took a small container of water. she went to the healing house and brought the water to the doctor. she watched some guys talk. she then noticed who the patient was. "Izzy?" she said quietly, walking to the bed and sitting in the chair on the opposite side of her friend.

Isabella

izzy woke up with a headache a bit later. she lifted her head and looked around. there were three people around her besides the doctors. she heard her name. "kary?" she asked quietly. her friend, kary, wasn't in her tribe. but they were best friends. she squeezed her friends hand. " where am i?" she asked quietly. she examined her wing. it was covered in bandages. suddenly, everything came back to her. she groaned and lay her head back down. "is everyone ok?" she asked quietly.

tucker

tucker heard a voice. he looked over to see the girl awake. he looked over at her. " no one else got injured." he said, " by the way, i'm tucker." he said to all three of them.

Mason

"i'm mason." said mason, " nice to meet you tucker." he said turning to the others. " you feelin ok?" he asked isabella. he pulled his jacket closed and zipped it up. he fingered one of his daggers in his jacket. he looked warily at the others. he didn't like most fairies, they made him nervous.

Kary

kary looked at mason and tucker. " i'm kary. " she said, squeezing isabella's hand. she looked at her friend gently." it's ok izzy. i'm here." she said gently to her friend. she looked at the boys. " why are you here anyhow?" she asked them.

Isabella

izzy looked at kary. she smiled quietly. "i'm Isabella." she told the boys quietly. she sat up and leaned against the pillows. she examained her wings gently. well, there busted, she thought quietly.

Isabella

a doctor suddenly walked in and looked at Isabella. " i'm sorry. but your wing was too torn, we are unable to fix it. i'm sorry young lady." he said to her solemnly. Isabella looked shocked. she looked at the torn wing sadly. she looked at the others, a sad expression on her face.

Kary

kary looked shocked. " oh izzy. i'm so sorry." she said after the doctor left. she squeezed her friend's hand gently. she turned to the others. " tucker. mason. i must be going home. " she said walking out of the room and went back to her house. she fingered the pendant now on her neck. she sighed. what did it mean?

tucker

tucker watched her leave. "ya, me too." he said walking off and back to his house where he fingered his pendant. he put it back in his shirt and looked outside. he sighed. it was going to be the big freeze in two days.

mason

mason looked at them. "i got to go too. but izzy." he told her before walking away. he flew back to his house, in the volcano. he held his pendant thinking to himself.

isabella

izzy was let out of the healing house the following day. she walked into her house. she collected her things. a fairy without the ability to fly? if was disgraceful. she finished packing and shouldered the pack. she hid her wings from sight and went out of her house. she would visit her friends, collect the things she would need. she started walking to the river, where she found kary, collecting water. she took a sealed barrel and dragged it away. she left her stuff at a tree and went up to the volcano where she stole some of mason's emergency minerals. then she collected her stuff and went to the fields, where she took bandages and food from tucker's house. she looked back, then ran away. where she would go? she didn't know. but she couldn't stay here.

Kary

kary turned to see a barrel had been stolen. she flitted around to look for the thief, but couldn't find anyone. she growled. she sighed. "maybe i should check up on izzy." she said flying away to izzy's house. to find that she wasn't there. she looked shocked as she just stood there.

Tucker

tucker noticed his bandages and food was gone. he ran outside. he looked around, only to see a wingless shape run off. he chased after them, but lost them. he went to isabella's house to find that she was no longer there. he looked at kary. " kary, where is izzy?" he asked her. but she didn't awnser.

mason

mason woke up in the morning. he sat up, then noticed that his minerals were gone. he ran out to look around. he was searching in the forest when he saw tucker and kary in the tree. " KARY! TUCKER! WHAT'S GOING ON?!" he yelled flying up. seeing isabella gone, he went still, and quiet.

Isabella

Isabella sat on an acorn. she fluttered her wing, streatching it. she sighed and bit into a piece of a berry. she put the rest into her bag and stood. she walked further into the wildest part of the forest. she wasn't needed. she walked into the shadowy forest, holding her sword in both her hands.

Tucker

Tucker looked down at Mason. "she's missing." he said quietly. he flew down and stood next to the others. he looked around. "lets find her." he said fluttering his wings.

Kary

Kary flew down after Tucker like she was dead. she closed her wings and looked at mason like she was dead. she nodded and shook her head.

Mason

Mason looked at kary and patted her back soothingly, and awkwardly. " we have to." he said to tucker.
