Soldier only sighs at her words; "I'm not nearly as... organized, Alphess." he replies slowly, after a while. "I prefer chaos, most times." When she smiles he looks away - that expression wasn't meant for him. "Are you warming up enough yet? It is quite a bit warmer than it had been outside." the dark male provides the words as he surveys this world benieth the pack. It was large enough for the whole pack as it was now, and quite a few others... what was he to do? This... its too closed in. He'd survive.

Nebbia lifted her gaze back up towards Soldier a small upturn of her lips offers the large male a faint smile. "Yes I am, thank you for asking. I can feel the frozen snow begging to melt in my fur." she answered. "And don't worry about keeping it as organized as he did, whatever is the best way for you to get the job done is fine by me."

Soldier flicks his ears once more, and grins a bright smile. This one was meant for her; not that he would admit that. The male nods, "I understand completely Nebbia - rest assured that my paws will.. do no harm while I work in this.. area.. of the pack." Sol swallows, "That your pack, will be safe." He leaves off the 'so long as it suits me'. That was a given. Was all this really fine with her? He has to ask. "Really?"

Malone awakens, eyes wide and bright. The pain hadn't woken her; rather it was the stiffling stillness. That green gaze goes to the sleeping, duller gray wolf beside her - he really would be nice to look at were he filled out a bit. Lykaios. Such a pretty, strange name. Hadn't he told her hers suited her? His did, for him. For once the female dares to think of hope, and a one-day home. A future. Would he be in it? She hasn't an idea.

Barely does Lykaios feel the smaller she-wolf shift against him.

He's off in his own small dream, one full of stars and moonglow, a field of vast--vast what? He couldn't tell what the fields were, the beings wandering the field almost shapeless, ethereal. And vaguely he thinks of ancient pasts to come, frostbite and rivers of clouds. It isn't until the icy wind outside blows into the cave does he stir, his ears twitching slightly as he pulls his legs closer to his body, slides a little closer to Malone.

He doesn't really notice the shifting movement--only that it was suddenly warm and the tension slides out of his muscles just like that, whimpering slightly as the twilight field is broken into shards of glass and into a brilliant white. Strange.

White.

That's what he thought of when he thinks of Malone. White, like snow, white like purity, white like hope--miracles, was that it?

Malone shivers in the cold air. Perhaps they'd need to move on - but.. well... she cringes at the idea of going back into the cold. Maybe there would be a way to make this place warmer. It would be safer to stay here, then move on. When the male wolf shifts in the nest, once, twice, she almost falls out of the nest and onto the cold lightly sanded granite floor. If her paw was better, she'd explore. She'd have no problem. Maybe she should speak with Lykaios about returning to the camp... but Soldier... The silver wolf begins to humm.

At the soft noise, Lykaios is suddenly brought back from the blinding white and to pitch darkness--which was none other than his closed eyelids, of course.

He lifts his head groggily and yawns wide, ears pulling to rest flat against his head. Once he had gotten that out of his system, he scans the cave briefly, before bringing his gaze to settle onto the small she-wolf beside him. "Oh, are you already awake? My apologies if it was I who woke you up--I never was a still sleeper." He drawls lazily, moving off of the nest and sitting up so as to give her more room. The cold floor sent shivers up his spine from his haunches, but he bared through with it (and strangely, he missed her warmth and her scent, like sharp pine).

He tilts his head back to look outside the cave. Not much as changed, the wind gliding in and out in irregular patterns that sent his fur standing on end. Going out was probably not the best--Malone's paw was still freshly wounded and just set.
