Lander heard light humming. It was from a female, he noticed. Who's there? He called out, holding his bow in one hand, arrow in the other. Lander placed the arrow in the bow, pulling back the drawstring. He walked around, back towards a tree. Lander came across a girl and he jumped, firing the arrow towards the air. Watch out! He yelled, pushing the girl out of the way, out of the arrow's landing spot.

Primrose gazed around her, soaking in the beauty of this place. "Why," she wondered aloud, "Am I forbidden to come here? It's beautiful!" Birds fluttered around her head, singing. She laughed and sang with them.

"Possibly because it's dangerous." Belle carefully walked to the girl (primrose) she had seen. After hearing her question she smiled in a friendly way and silly bowed holding one side of her dress. "I'm belle it's very nice to meet you." She spoke calmly.

She jumped slightly at the girl's sudden appearance. "Oh, I'm sorry! I thought you were one of the guards," she laughed. "What's so dangerous about the woods? It's beautiful here." Then, remembering her manners, she curtsied daintily. The gesture was perfect, as she had spent so many years performing it for various members of the royal court. "My name is Primrose Blackburn, by the way."

I yelped slightly running behind a tree. I hid behind the tree the arrow hit. I felt like a little kid. This wasn't good. Someone knew I existed. My faeries always told me to never get caught. And to stay away from sharp objects. Always the sharp objects...I poked my head out from behind the tree, blonde hair falling in my face. "Uh thanks," I whispered.

"My mother always told me never to come here, beauty could be deceiving. People had been saying about mysterious creatures here." She smiled and went to her carefully moving a stray stand of hair behind her ear. "I came to see if the stories were true, it is beautiful and seems to calm."

She nodded. "I just can't fathom what's so dangerous, though. I don't understand." She looked around and up at the canopy of the trees, then walked to one, spinning a circle around it and running her hand over the bark. "I suppose that there are many things that I don't understand, though. That's what my stepmother always says. "You just don't understand Primrose. Stay quiet. Mind your manners. Don't speak unless you're spoken to. Don't argue." It drives me crazy sometimes." She clamped her hand over her mouth. She shouldn't say such things to strangers.

"You can trust me not to say a word, but simply listening to the words your stepmother told you. Would it be correct if I infer that you..are part of a royal family?" She asked curiously, she had read so many books about royalty that it seemed too familiar to her.

She nodded. "I am. My father was the king. May he rest in peace." She pointed to the castle just beyond the trees. "That's my home.....if one can call its cold stone a home."

"My home is simple but loved, a small cottage. I live with my father after my mother passed away." She sighed faintly her beautiful smile faltering before it kept up as she held the book. "My father is going out to the fair tonight, if you'd like maybe you can stay to keep away from your gloom."
