Owlpaw slipped, unseen, out of camp. Padding along one of the many forest trails, he wandered closer and closer to the border. The black apprentice admittedly didn't have a purpose besides being bored to be roaming so close to the border, but it was in his nature to get into trouble. As he neared the border, he noticed a she cat hunting a mouse. He knew he should stop her, but his interest had already been piqued. "Hi" Owlpaw greeted her.

[*Hollystar*]

Dawn jumped. She whirled around and had her claws at the cat's throat before he could blink. "What are you doing?!" She hissed.

[tauriel.]

Owlpaw hissed softly at her, his claws unsheathing. "I only said hi!" He protested defiantly. This cat was acting like his mother when he did something wrong. He scowled at her. "Nice way to greet someone."

[*Hollystar*]

Dawn got off of him and studied him closely. "You're one of those clan cats." She finally decided. "Have you come to chase me away?" She said with humor in her voice.

[tauriel.]

Owlpaw gave her a half annoyed, half mischievous look. Now that she'd gotten off him, his anger had dulled but he still resented her for attacking him for no reason. Crouching, he eyed her, the look in his eyes both playful and serious. "I was... But I guess I'll let you of the hook." Truthfully, he was also a bit intimidated; not that he'd ever admit it. She was so much bigger than him, and Owlpaw didn't know any battle moves yet.

She smiled "Oh thank you kind and merciful cat. " she mocked. Dawn smiled for the first time in moons.
