Leafdapple sighs and turns around. Her ears perk up at the sound of fighting. Who is it this time? She pads over to the scene and see Hawkpaw and Mintpaw. Hawkpaw can easily beat a cat like Mintpaw. Right when Leafdapple gets out of her watching place, Firesoul scoops up Mintpaw. For that, she's forever grateful. At least the wounds aren't severe, all Mintpaw will need is a cobweb on his chest.When Leafdapple enter the warrior's den, Firesoul already has the cobweb covered. "Firesoul, I'll take it from here." She gently puts Mintpaw on my back and take him to my den.

I cried louder when Leafdapple was there, trying to get as close to her soft, warm belly as much as I could. I was shaking uncontrollably. About as much as I was when I had first arrived to the clan many moons ago. My silent agony racked my body as I quivered in fear.

I dry my tears off, but then, I feel my paws getting cold. Blood starts streaming to my paws, and I run away. I see that my paw had broke while I was running. I dash to the medicine cat's den, woozy, and naucious."Ohhh.." I grumble, looking at my crooked paw. Guess i'll have to limp forever. I think, my tail thumping impatiently.

Leafdapple turns to Firesoul. Looking down at his paw, she can see that he broke his paw. She gets cobweb to bind the paw. Calmly, she says, "Firesoul, you'll have to have patience. Bones do heal, so will your paw." She gives him a subtle smile.

I ate the berry and snuggled up next to Leafdapple, my breathing soon evening and my shivering dying down. I soon fell asleep in the dark of night, a ray moonlight warming my fur as I curled up in the nook of the medicine cat's belly.

Leafdapple purrs and licks the top of Mintpaw's head. After adding an extra layer of cobweb to Firesoul's paw, she can feel her eyes getting heavy. Leafdapple goes to lay beside Mintpaw and covers him with her tail.
