He decided to break the silence "So how are you today Beta Roan" he asked addressing her formally not sure if he could just call her Roan or not.

"Just call me Roan and I am great, thank you. And you?" She said, trying to be as polite as possible. She wanted to be seen as a good, caring beta to her pack.

" okay.. and I'm doing alright" he said, he then looked around to see where they were at. They were getting close to a pretty good hunting spot, if it was the place he was thinking about.

She nodded and lifted her snout to the sky, sniffing the air for any potential prey. She knew this hunting spot but she wanted to see his hunting techniques.

Nyx watched the higher ranks leave as he stayed to guard the camp, as told. Although he could have done so without threat from the Alpha. He minimized the thought and focused on guarding the dens, padding around. Nyx decided to get a better view of the overall place so he jumped up on a boulder and sat down, looking at the camp below him. It was easier to guard this way because he could see the whole pack and whoever was going in and out.

She positioned herself in the lead and brought them to the thickest part of the forest. "There, on the ground. Bandit, I want you to catch that prairie chicken." She said, knowing that prairie chickens are fairly hard to catch.

"I want to see his skills, Alpha." She replied looking at Infinity. The she-wolf didn't reply to her comment about treating omegas. Roan didn't want to make it seem like she was challenging the leader. She looked at the prairie chicken then at Bandit in concern. They were hard to catch and he had barely become a hunter.
