"We'll start out on the far edge of our territory," Bramblepaw called over his shoulder, picking up the pace just a little. He may not have been great at everything, but running was one of his greater skills because of how light he was. He often wondered why the Clan hadn't named him Runningkit. "If there's still a badger out here, then I really want to avoid it in the safest way possible... And not waste any time. If we go around the outside, the we can work our way back towards camp, and hopefully it'll be a lot quicker. If we're lucky, we shouldn't run into it, either."

Spottedtail followed after the tom, blinking in slight surprise at his question as she trudged through the undergrowth a bit awkwardly. She was smaller than a usual warrior, so often her chest got caught on certain things, so she had to plow through thick plants and undergrowth. It was strange, because it put her at a disadvantage when hunting. "Well... Sure, I've always wanted one. Though it does conflict with my warrior duties.... That would probably be the only thing that bothered me about it. But it sure would be nice...." She mewed quietly. "Why do you ask?"

Sky ran in front of Honeypaw. He laughed with joy playfully, having a good time with his best friends.

He turned his head to briefly watch the two behind him, chuckling softly before turning his gaze forward again. He swiftly jumped onto a fallen tree, catching onto the bark with his claws and scrambling up onto it. "I have a feeling you're going to love being a warrior, Sky~! It's so much fun!" He purred in amusement before jumping down nimbly onto the other side.

He noticed the difficulty the smaller cat was having. Merging in front of her, he pushed through the tougher bits of plantation.
"Just wondering. I was uh.. actually going to ask you.." The tom paused as the sound of scuffling reached his ears. He peered out from a bush, gazing at what he saw. Many rabbit tunnels. In fact, quite a few were out of their burrows. Sparrowpatch smiled at the sight.

"If we do find the badger, we have to go back to camp and tell Owlstar. Only a fool would mess with a badger alone." I let out a little laugh as Sky goes past me. My prediction was correct. I start to run faster, catching up to Bramblepaw. But that won't last for long. Without turning to Sky, I mew, "And don't be surprised when we show you our great and beautiful territory!" Saying that fills me with pride. I wasn't born into the clan, but the territory is what made me want to join. I should tell Sky that later.

"Going to ask me what....?" She asked softly, stopping in her tacks as Sparrowpatch did. She made her way around the undergrowth to her side to stand beside him, blinking at him thankfully for his help before turning her gaze towards the rabbits. She smiled herself and chuckled. "They're so cute. I wish we didn't have to eat them," She whispered, crouching down a little and sitting on her paws as she watched the small mammals with interest.

He laughed a bit and nodded in agreement before beginning to run again, out towards where the trees of the forest ended. "We're almost to the border~" He called joyfully. it felt amazing, to be able to run like this and spend time with his friend at the same time. He wished he could do this everyday. The thought that there could be a badger around almost entirely slipped his mind.
