What are your opinions on user-made art in their own signatures?

I think it's awesome; they've clearly spent a long time on it and they want to show it off. The uniqueness and awesomeness of art-based siggys are just rad. There wont be another like it and that's great!

Simple signatures, or complicated? And why? What would you consider simple and what would you consider complicated?

It depends; each have their pros and cons. I would lean more toward complicated {not that I'm any good at complicated signatures}, I think they show an amazing amount of skill and are show how talented the coder is. However I do think that simple signatures have an elegance to them and are better for showcasing the person's image-manipulation skills.

I don't know what is the line between simple and complex; but I would certainly say my signature is simple. And, perhaps for comparison Irisid's signature is complex. 8)

I admire this a ton. I love originality, especially from nothing to something like originality. Repetitiveness of a single style... tends to get dull after a time, so seeing something new and fresh is exciting :)

Uh.
Crap.
I don't think there is a way to say what is simple and what is complex with coded signatures to be honest, well referring to the coding part since it is more or less placement of type in areas.... I guess?
But with this sort of question, to me; it has more to do with the visuals than the coding itself.
For instance, if you have still images with a bit of overlap, that would be somewhat simple for me.
But if you have something like overlapping gif images, then that would be complicated to me.
But, that is not to say simple is not good; sometimes simple is best of all :)

Okay, so that T.S. sig I did was a test to see what that kind of sig would be like ^-^ I made a new one, one that I like much better. I was wondering if I could get any comment/critique? I know that the bars over the left fox's tail aren't very good but that was kind of an accident.. Long story.

Anyways, after some critique/comments, I was wondering if anybody knew any good fox quotes/sayings? That one in my sig now doesn't fit very well. :c

I like "a fox is a wolf who sends flowers". I plan to use "Nous sommes responsables pour ceux qui nous avons apprivoise", "You become responsible forever for what you have tamed", some time. Yep~

I actually have, it was only for a brief while and it was based around my two pets. ovo

I think I'd like to remake something like that but with the skills I have now; I'm not sure though. 8)

I have been trying to work on a bit more complicated coding
(considering I have the day off tomorrow from work and school)
but it's mostly going to be charrie forms since im happy with my
signature for now ^-^ (hehehe)

Absolutely (especially deers. i luv em') but i'm starting to lean towards
different things now (since animal siggys are common, and i'm all
about unique -that was a terrible pun. i should rlly stahp making them-)
