Even though she planned on checking up on Lionstripe, she decided against it. It was most likely just lack of sleep. He must be in his bed right now. Quietly, she exits her den. Let's see how Crowstar is doing. Padding up to the leader's den, she quietly asks, "Do you need anything?"

He had followed Crowstar into her den, and was now lying in his nest, a little aways from Crowstar's. He let out a low growl as Leafdapple approached.

I padded out of the den, my ears pricking to the voices of Crowstar and the medicine cat. My heart raced as I swiftly bounded over to the leader, before my eyes narrowed in relief. The leader's mate was curled near her protectively, making sure he could keep an eye on her. He's going to get sick too, if he sleeps close to her, I thought nervously. Is everything alright? I asked, flicking my tail.

"Everything is fine.." he growled lowely, looking at the tom.

I flinched slightly at the tom's tone, and at the way he glared at me. My ears flattening against my skull, I stepped back slightly. I know you're upset, but she's going to be okay, Rainwhisker, I tried to comfort him, my pupils widening in hope that maybe he wouldn't shove me away.

He sighed. "I'm scared," The young tom admitted softly.

I nodded and beckoned him outside of his den with my tail, my eyes warm. I understand, I nodded, purring slightly. Maybe we could go on a hunt? We can get your mind off things for a bit.

Leafdapple's ears slightly perk up. Great Starclan, won't my clanmates realize that pride will not help their whitecough? If Rainwhisker keeps acting like this, he'll get whitecough. If everyone gets whitecough untreated, it will turn into greencough. At Rainwhisker's words, she pads a little closer to their den. "It's alright to worry, but this is what I'm here for. Hopefully the tansy she takes will clear her whitecough." She subtly smiles to show him that it's okay.

He shakily nodded at Leafdapple, then spoke up to Bankston. "S-sure," He nodded, padding out of the den.

I purred slightly and turned, heading out of the camp with Rainwhisker to get some fresh air. I looked over at the other tom and smiled sadly, shaking my head. I know how you feel. I had a denmate back with the twolegs who was sick with the same thing. We called it throat-burn, in that house. I lived with three others, besides me. And the name sort of stuck. And you know what? The cat with throat-burn? He lived, I mewed, looking back at the small path ahead of me. He was my father.
