Arro prefers not to interact with others, as they see it as a waste of both their and others' time. If you somehow mange to get close to them, they'll be almost impossible to talk to - too absorbed in their personal goals when you're not busy and too bored when you're busy. They'll try to keep in touch with you, but they /really/ just suck at it.

A Short Story:
Arro walked down the busy street. They sighed. "Just a bunch of people who's time I'm wasting by being here," they thought. Arro had unconsciously began to walk slower and hang their head down, making them look even more depressed than they actually felt. Arro had four basic types of days - good days, normal days, bad days, and very bad days. Today was of the last variety, as with a majority of their days had been lately. There was no reason for them to be bad - Arro just felt worse on some days than others. They held their head down even more, as their pace had slowed to a crawl. Finally, they realized that they had begun moving slower and sped back up. They slowed down when they were thinking negatively, and they usually only realized it when someone went up and confronted them. This time, they noticed a well-meaning passerby walking over and sped up in time to avoid them. They hated talking to people - it seemed like no one else understood. They full well realized that there were people in the same situation as them, and that it was irrational, but that didn't stop him. Uh oh, they started thinking too deep again. Arro finally just concentrated on getting back to his home and decided not to deal with anything like that.
