Erin lost her balance when Wildfire skidded to a stop unexpectedly. "Didn't see that coming..." She stood in the saddle to try and look down the slope.

Dallas kept walking. He thought he could see a horse laying down, and it looked like Jayy to him.

Jayy flared his nostrils, hoofing the ground unhappily, mad that the boy was approaching, he was just worried about Kai, and was trying to get her home, but he'd begun getting cold and it was hard for him to move since he was cold and lacking grain that morning. He was trying his best though. He flicked his short tail out, debating charging the boy.

Duke smiled and pushed the mare's nose back in response. It was a playful push, not hurting the mare.

Ryce nodded. "We can't let the horses go down. We'll have to find a way around." He made Cobalt turn towards the right. He sighed. "See a way?" He asked.

Erin sat back down in the saddle and looked around. There was a faint path made through some of the ferns that grew. She turned Wildfire towards the path to investigate.

Erin found that the little narrow path lead onto a thicker trail. "Ryce, come this way," She said as she looked back. Bailey was picking her way alongside the path, hidden by the ferns and bushes.
