The mother's eyes gleamed "my name is sparkle" she said licking Hillary's fluffy coat. Hillary snuggled into her furr "i feel the bond..."she murmered. "the moment you first layed eyes on me you felt it my dear" Sparkle said gently. Hillary's bob tail wagged as she licked her mother "it allways remained there when i was with Galaxy. I felt the bond but i knew... i knew something was missing... The bond with Galaxy was diffrent to the one i feel now mother... It's magical". Sparkle smiled "i never stopped loving you. I never stopped missing you. Everyday i'd pray you'd come home to me" her eyes were prickled with tears "your siblings... She killed them all".

'I've found them!' Cracker thought gleefully as she spotted Burnt and the group of dogs up ahead. Cracker leapt forward and ran.

"What a bunch of cr@p!" Loka barked at 'Sparkle', his lips curled and his bodyfur fluffed and standing on end. "I can't believe you didn't take her away earlier, when her mum was dying. You could've saved her alot of pain." He growled at Sparkle, stiff-leggedly walking two steps forward, challenging the female to make a stand. "You're not fit to be a mother." He concluded with a flick of his wispy tail.

Cracker heard some barking from where Burnt's trail led to, ''Burnt??'' Cracker whined.

Loka turned on Cracker and growled, his ears pricking forward. "Im not Burnt, Im Loka." He told her, a sigh of breath announcing that the young male was well and truely annoyed.

Sparkle growled viciously and lowered her head. Her furr bristled and her ears where flat against her head. Hillary barked and pushed her away. "I had to wait so she'd know who i was and what had happened" Sparkle snapped.

"If you were her real mother," Loka spat. "And you cared for her and you'd been looking for her, then once you'd found her the 'bond'," He said 'bond' with a sarcastic tone. "would've kicked in and you'd have done anything to get her. Not say 'who am I?' and walk off into the shadows! You," He barked, so furious that he was almost foaming at the mouth. "Are the worst mother I've ever seen, you shouldn't have had children and I bet the other pups are better off being dead!"

Hillary looked at Loka and then at Sparkle. She walked away and sat by Loka. Sparkle felt deeply hurt "you've taken my pup again" she barked and ran off.

"She left you, I didnt take her!" Loka howled after her, still growling as he looked down at Hillary. "Do you see what I mean, now, pup?" He asked, his growl subsiding into a gentle murr.

Hillary nodded and smiled "thank you for helping me see she didn't care" she said. She dipped her head and thumped her tail on the ground.
