So I've kinda just been hanging back about this whole thing. I am slightly torn. I have great respect towards Dream and her decision, she has all rights to do what she pleases with this adoptable which includes getting rid of staff. Everything I am about to say is not to put down anyone.

I agree, most of the club, that the way they went about getting rid of the artists was wrong. Each artist deserves a personal message telling them why they are no longer an artist. Its just the most respectful thing to do since they all have been here since the start of Bear Run. But that didn't happened. It didn't happen and I'm pretty sure that those who made the decision to retire the artist have read every comment about it. I don't see a reason for anyone in the club to really complain about that any more. I think they all get the point. Also I would like to point out that Dream did mention that there would be artists that they were going to retire. Found on pg. 352

hey guys! Just a heads up that its Amny's birthday (if i remember correctly) so ya'll should all send her birthday wishes! here in a bit I'll be going to help out with the daddy, daughter dance at my brother's school so I'll be gone for a bit. Also just a quick update with some news, the GA's that are staying and the artists that are being retired will be announced in a few days!

As for the Potato part. I am honestly really upset to Potato getting retired. If the reason she was retired was because she made herself "too many customs" I believe that that was not a good call by those who retired Tater. I was also thinking about what Shadow said before she posted it. If there was a problem with artists making to many customs I believe that they should have first addressed the issue and then made the rule. I do not know if the issue was addressed or not but I know there is no rule on artists having a limit on how many customs they can make themselves. Also if Potato is the one who made to many customs it wasn't even at once. Each custom was made over a period of time. I also know that there is no way that Potato was retired because she did not make enough tolters or anything, over half of her gallery of created pets are tolters. So I just wanted to put my thoughts on the whole Potato part.

Anyways with that being said I may not support the retiring of Potato but I am supporting Dream on everything else. In the end she doesn't even have to let us have a voice on anything. Like I said before it is her adoptable.
As for the new artists, congratulations guys! You've all made amazing work so far and I know that you guys will keep up the amazing work.

Thank you for understanding at least, I wish others would at least try as well. There are multipul reasons behind each artist being retired, and that includes Potato. It's not a personal issue, and it's not alone the customs or even close to that being why. It was simply one of the many examples of reasons I have given to you guys in hopes that you would understand or try.

i would be devastated if i was terminated from one of the species that i'm currently an artist for. when you put your time and effort into something of course you would be, and i feel for the artists that were retired today. but if i was terminated i would be completely respectful of the owners decision. i would know that they would have thought long and hard about it and have their reasons. every time i click that 'colormein' button i'm grateful for being able to share my designs with others and make them smile so i would be appreciative of the opportunity while it lasted.

i volunteered at a day care facility for people with a disability recently and there was a possibility of being offered a casual position. although everyone said i was a natural and developed a great relationship with all of the clients and staff i wasn't offered a position. was i upset? of course, i loved going in to volunteer every day and there were a lot of clients that had picked me as one of their favourite workers. but if i was right for the job i would have been offered a position and i respected that. it wasn't anything personal towards me, it just wasn't the facility where i was meant to work. c:

i think what i'm trying to say is, just as people are hired for reasons other than their skills [which can happen sometimes when you're looking for a job, you might not be qualified but you have that extra something; that life experience or shining personality that you can bring to the workplace] so can they be let go for multiple reasons and it doesn't have to be anything that we should take personally. dream, nim and gator made some tough decisions that none of you would want to be the ones to make. ♥

thanks rocky for the congratulations, it's truly appreciated and i think i can say that on behalf of all the new artists! we are so excited! now, on to something positive, how about some adopts? i hope despite the tension in the fanclub you are all looking forward to more designs from us because i, for one, am extremely grateful and will be pumping out some more FCFS in celebration after i do some growths, so stay tuned over the next few hours for those! c:

I know people are scared of change but you have to try it to know if it is a good or bad thing. I'm happy to be with this community as all these decisions are being made and have a chance to watch it grow and progress. This new change is just a part of progress and I think they made the choices they think were best. So thank you guys for being the ones to make the hard decisions so others don't have to I appreciate the effort you guys are putting forward to aid the Tolters and their community to grow and continue.

Hopefully I'll get off work in time to go for some of those fcfs twitchy, they are always so gorgeous. ^^

I have put in alot of time and effort (over 6 months worth of desgins) into being a artist and I honsetly find it downright rude to be so bluntly fired. If I was doing something wrong, couldnt you of least told me? I have tried to be part of the communtity but at first the people I met weren't too keen either. I tried to move past this; I'm not a very social person but I enjoyed reading through all your posts and such.

I have always followed the rules and been nice to everyone, I helped with the GA judging, I've tried to put out regular adopts.
I wish I could of ended on nicer terms but alas.

If you read what dream posted it talks about agings being done and contests being judged.
