Some stuff about Azrael

Name; Azrael Peterson

You'll see this again in the history, but he wasn't named Azrael for the meaning. It was the name of his grandfather who passed before he was born. his mother gave it to him as a way to remember her father as well as give her newborn son a noble name. However, his name means

Nickname(s); Ray, Raz, Bumble

Bumble; Bumble is Azrael's pen name as well as a nickname he goes by more often than his name. It was given to him by himself as a child after realizing he had a fur pattern that was like a bee. He liked the sound of it and, well, decided it would be his new 'legal' name. Obviously he realizes now that it was silly, but at the age of 6 it's the only thing he wished to be called. In fact, he would retaliate if you didn't. His inability to be rude, however, made his 'retaliation' seem odd. "I'm going to ignore you!" he would say, then help you or talk to you almost immediately after saying so. Despite this, he ended up going by Bumble for quite some time and now he uses it as a pen name. Hark is an author for kids books and instead of putting his real name he just uses "Bumble the Bee." to let kids use their imagination.

Raz; Arrow was a childhood nickname that only his closest friends call him, or himself when he's playing Pirate with the little kids and goes by "the evil Captain Raz." It was originally given to him by Averil, his best childhood friend, as a way to scare off bullies and make Azrael seem more threatening than he could ever be. She would go by the name Rave just for the fun of it, just to have a somewhat similar (not very similar) name.

Being a babysitter may not seem like the best paying or most luxurious job, but Azrael adores it. He loves kids and spending all of his time with them. He isn't one of those live-in kind of sitters, and he babysits more than just one family regularly. He seems to have a strong connection with children, from telling them stories to taking them on adventures or to a movie. He would do anything for his kids and knows each of them like the back of his hand. Azrael is extremely good at what he does, if there was a babysitting king he would definitely take the crown.

Babysitting isn't all he does though, he writes children's books as a hobby of his. It started off as a simple bedtime story that got out of hand and eventually was recorded on paper. He decided that each time he comes up with a story that the kinds he babysits loves, or just an idea in general, he would write it for other kids to enjoy. His range goes from teenagers all the way down to those just starting to read, as he babysits any aged child. He goes by the name Bumble under this, rather than signing his name of as Azrael just for fun, although he claims "Bumble the bee sounds much more kid friendly than Azrael."

Pet(s); Adult Rottweiler by the name of Soto, Border collie mix puppy by the name of Mickey, Kitten by the name of Princess, a bunny by the name of Cleo.

Soto was adopted when Azrael was about 18, making Soto around 4 or 5. Raz picked him out at the shelter simply for company, until Azrael realized how sweet Soto was and decided to take the time to train Soto to be a therapy dog. Soto was a bit more difficult to train, but after waiting until Soto was a year old and about 18 weeks of solid training, he was eligible. Azrael loves to use Soto as a way to connect with other members in his community. { Based off of my Rottweiler and what I wanted to do }

Mickey was a different story. Az was walking around the neighborhood for fresh air, as he normally does, when a tiny black and white puppy caught his eye. It lay on the sidewalk, breathing shallowly. It turned out he was mistreated by his owners and left to die. Azrael couldn't help himself but to make sure proper treatment was given to the poor pup. He later ended up keeping him and surprising Soto with a friend. { based off of a dog at the shelter }

Then came Princess. Princess was the offspring of a stray cat that had a litter of 6. After animal control failed to capture Princess, he decided to take matters into his own hands and set up a trap himself so the kitten wouldn't die of hunger or the cold. Azrael, loving animals and not being able to say no when he noticed the tiny helpless ball of fluff, decided to keep her. Not much else happens other than he loves her company. Princess is a moody calico that hides from everyone other than Azrael and adores playing with Soto and Mickey. { Based off of my own cat actually }

Finally there's Cleo. Cleo was just another bunny at a pet store that Azrael was unable to keep himself from adopting. She was the smallest one and the oddball, being the only black and white bun they had at the store. He made sure Cleo had the best bunny cage there could possibly be as well as time with him. As Princess isn't one to watch TV, Cleo is the one to relax with Az when it's been a long day and always seems to make him smile. She has a sassy attitude and loves attention. { based off of my friends pet }

Home; Comfortable 2-story with a lower level and small basement, along with a large back yard complete with a pool and a play set in case children come to his home for him to watch for any reason.

Simple things;

Azrael can be described as many things, but a phrase to sum it up would be:
"Living life as if I died yesterday"

To start off, Azrael is an overall approachable guy that you want to be around. He cares a bunch for everyone and it shows. He's that smiling face holding the door open for you, or that one kid you are terrified of since he knows everyone but once you meet him you always want to be around him. He has a calming aura around him that makes those wish to be around him, he always has. He never turns down the opportunity to meet someone new and make a new friend. Right off the bat you can tell that this friendly guy is also extremely responsible and organized, the perfect guy to organize something to that one guy you trust to hold onto something since you know you'll lose it. He tends to be a little too organized however, labelling everything and making sure everything is working well. He isn't the one to freak out if everything gets messy though, he just prefers everything easy to find. Admittedly he has a habit of trying to clean things up, but that's just natural to him, nothing too big. Although he seems like that sweet guy that doesn't really do anything, he absolutely adores a good adventure. In fact, this is one of the many traits that help him get along with the children so well. He can make up an adventure and wishes to one day go on his own. He likes the idea of travel, however he would much rather chill out with his tiny friends that he babysits. Azrael plans on going around the world when his little pals are all grown up and don't need him anymore, at that point he does plan on having enough to go to more exotic places on the globe. Simple things like snorkeling, or the more terrifying things like sky diving intrigue him, and he would love to do it before he kicks the bucket. Until then, he lives his simple and happy lifestyle he is completely content with. He loves volunteering places and helping out in his community when he gets the time. He may not be the richest, but he certainly isn't the poorest and whenever he can he is giving himself to some kind of charity. He meets most of his friends at charities or other volunteer work, he'll immediately start talking to you on day one. Azrael is usually the first to notice a new face around an area he's familiar with, and usually the first to greet you. Azrael is the kind of person you want to be around, his optimistic attitude always brightening the mood of those who encounter him. Those who meet him may think he isn't the brightest, he usually keeps his brilliance to himself. He's one of those honor kids that know more than the teacher does about everything, making him not only a great student but an excellent turor for children. Speaking of children, Az has many qualities that make him perfect for the babysitting job.

As said before, he has many more qualities, and these pertain more to his babysitting. When someone watches your kids, you don't want some violent and angry devil-person. No, you want someone like Azrael that will not only watch your kids for a few hours but also act as a rolemodel and guide for your little pride and joy. Azrael is great with kids of any age, including babies. He's very good with them and just has this weird way of getting along perfectly. It's not exactly his paint either, although that does tend to help. Azrael has never been described as rough or brutal towards the kids, in fact he's never hurt one, even on accident. He makes sure each child is safe and comfortable with where they are. He would never force a child to do something, but does have a way to get children to do somehing they don't want to do, like doing chores. Azrael always manages to persuay the child into doing what they have to do, usually promising a game or something fun in return. Games are what he loves, playing with the children just comes naturally to him. He is basically an overgrown child himself, and tends to get more into it then they do. He even buys costumes for himself the kids to wear during their play, if they don't have any that is. He gets so caught up and can go on for days using the accent or even wearing the outfit if he's 'too lazy' to change out of it. (He still wears it for fun but just wont admit it.) He tends to get caught in his own fantasies though, sometimes wiggling a new character into a series he wrote or making a completely new one. Now, traveling back to the topic of children, he's extremely patient with them. They could be the brattiest kid ever, but Azrael will love them anyway. He refuse to quit the job, and acts like a fun (male) version of Nanny Mcphee, just nicer and less ugly.

Chews his pen caps
Come on, everyone has done it at least once in their life. You're bored, tired, don't even realize you're doing it? It was a habit when he was younger that he never grew out of. Azrael doesn't even realize he's doing it half of the time, it just kind of happens. He can't seem to break it either, and it's one of his... less appealing habits. It grosses people out, and they pretty much never think twice about not giving him a pen, unless it's a prank. He makes sure there's not anything that could make a fool of him on the pen, he doesn't want another face full of ink again.

Wears costumes for fun
This has been a thing with him ever since he was younger, he loves costumes. He may be a little bit awkward and clumsy but he loves to act and mess around, although he could hardly be called professional. He may not be good at acting but he is good at entertaining kids, and entertaining kids he does indeed. He'll make his own costumes or buy some for the little kids and himself, his wardrobe consisting of way too many costumes compared to the amount of 'normal' clothes. Granted, there's a whole trunk dedicated to the children he babysits, but nonetheless he just loves costumes and dressing up. He'll even wear them around the house when he's done and claims he's 'too lazy' to take it off, but this is a time where he lies. He adores the costume and the feeling it gives him and refuses to take it off. It's not rare to see him in public in a pirates costume, followed by a little fairy or small princess bounding behind him excitedly as he proudly leads the children on an adventure, outdoors and in public.

Scratches his palms when nervous
This is just a nervous tick he has, not everyone has them. When he is lying (if he lies, which is actually quite rare) or he's just stressing about something his palms tend to swest and get extremely itchy and he can't help but violently scratch them. Sometimes, if a situation is bad enough, he has to wear gloves or gauze wrap to make sure he doesn't scratch too hard and cut himself. This isn't an often thing and only really happens with small things he forgets to do that don't seem to be very big to others.

Constantly tries to finish people's sentences
It is said that the brain is constantly thinking of ways a persons sentence can finish, and for Azrael this is true. Very true. In fact, if you're in the middle of talking and he'll try to continue your sentence (if he knows you well enough) or predict what is going to happen. It's an annoying habit of his but if you're patient it ends up becoming a fun game where you try to do it to him as well. He's gotten better with keeping it to himself, but with close friends he can't help himself but to try.

When angry he mutters or yells in jibberish rather than anything else
This is probably another quality that makes him such a great babysitter, or just all around person in general. He never raises his voice, never tells or swears, but rather mutters in jibberish. Nobody gets him and sometimes this creeps others out, but it's honestly better than losing your temper and fighting with a little kid. Never once has he lashed out on a kid, no matter how challenging, and trust me some kids are definitely more challenging than others. He wants to set a good example for the kids, and even though it's hard to contain your anger it's better to let it out in a quick, violent whisper of nonexistent words. No violence, no yelling, just random jibberish that not venue can understand half the time.

When he doesn't know what to do he blurts out a random word
Azrael is, well, awkward. He's all around awkward and quite frankly he gets into awkward situations. He isn't the best with starting conversations, unless you're much younger than him and quite frankly he's a weirdo then. Now, there are those situations where it's just so awkward and nobody knows what to do he just yells out a random word. And by random, it's usually the first things hat comes to him mind, which is commonly food. For the most part it makes things much more awkward, but there are a few that'll restart the conversation and tell a story of one comes to mind with whatever he may have blurted out.

Fear of Failure//
Azrael has never liked the idea of failure, but who does? Nobody likes to fail, it leaves a bad feeling and sometimes others aren't too pleased with you. However, Az absolutely despises the idea of failure, especially with either of his jobs. He doesn't want to let others down, he hates the idea of that and would never be able to deal with the thought of failing a child or someone else he cares about. He's scared that if he fails that it'll make the kid hate him and it'll end up in him never being able to do the things he loves.

Fear of Abandonment//
This is just a minor fear that ebbs at him. It doesn't really come from anything that's happened to him, but watching movies as a kid spooked him into it. He feels like its another reason why he adopt so a many animals and tries to take care of kids, he never wants anyone or anything to feel like that. He's had that attitude since he was a child and he hasn't changed and never will. When he gets kid of his own, whether its by adoption or not, he will make sure that they never feel alone and abandon.

Fear of Cicadas//
Okay, so they don't scare him, but rather creep him out majorly. He doesn't like the annoying, ear-piercing sound that the make when they're in season, but the worst part is their shell. Azrael hates that exoskeleton that they shed, he thinks it's the most disgusting thing on earth. He was 'traumatized' when he was younger, when really all that happened was a cicada she'll fell on his head when he and Averil were messing around. They went to the park for some fun, and while Averil hummed along and had fun dancing around, little 9 year old Azrael stood there staring at the trees as if they were the most evil thing on earth. That's when Averil called him to one of the evil trees where Averil sat on and dropped a cicada shell she had found right into on his head. After that he couldn't find himself outside without remembering that terrifying shell staring at him, the crunching of it as he repeatedly crushed it under his shoe, and the horrified expression of Averil at the only violent thing she has ever seen Az do. He's gotten over it for the most part, but there is still that small glint of uneasiness that comes over him when they start to sound out.

Questions for Azrael

What is the biggest lie you've ever told
"I wouldn't call it a lie, but I have been telling the little kids I babysit that im secretly a superhero called Bumble the Brave and now they believe that im an actual superhero and constantly ask if I need to go save the world now or if they can be my side kick. I can't really tell them it was a joke because then they'll either call me a liar (which is considered a little kid swear word at their age) and give me the death glare. I have to wait until they're older but for now I guess we can consider this a lie?"

What's your favorite activity to do with the kids?
"Every kid is different, but when I have to watch multiple kids at once the zoo never seems to fail me. Every kid loves the zoo, even I love going to the zoo. Watching them run around, take pictures, or stare at something looking completely awestruck is just the best thing. I always take them to get their faces painted so they're able to look like an animal themselves. There's always a kid that wants their face painted like a clown, rather than an animal though. It's amusing, and it's usually the same kid I babysit 5 days a week."

What is your favorite season and why?
"This question seems easy enough... unfortunately I don't have a favorite season. Every season brings something amazing for me to do with the kids. Summer is a great season to start at, the blazing heat makes it perfect for swimming and teaching the younger ones how to swim, or staring at the clear starry skies and catching fireflies at night. My personal favorite activity in the summer is a long camping trip where we get to fish, sit by the campfire, and sing like that one episode in spongebob (except we don't die or get attacked or something in the end). Then there's winter, perfect time to watch movies and bake goods with the little ones as they talk about what they want for Christmas. I love taking them sledding, the teenagers do tend to get into some trouble though, trying to teach the younger ones how to surf which usually ends with them and a face full of snow. Spring is also good, but it's nothing special when it's colder out. I love autumn as well, I always manage to get the kids to do some physical activity! Raking the leaves into one big pile and then jumping into them is always great fun. Then there's spring, the only season im not a fan of. I do enjoy the new life look it has, unfortunately that new life includes those wretched Cicadas.


Questions for me

Why do you want Azrael?
I want Azrael for a couple of reasons, actually. For starters, his design is amazing, to say the least. But the appearance is only a small factor, what really came to me was the concept. I loved the concept I had in mind for him and hoped that I could make it real. I love making forms for characters, and by doing so it helps me take my mind off of things so it's a win win situation either way. I had lost a wolf using this concept already, and I think this bab would be perfect to take the originals place.

Why would you make a good owner for Azrael
Why would I make a good owner for Azrael? I don't forget my characters, not those that I spend hours on developing. Now you could say im not active in the community and stuff, but that doesn't mean im not active with my RPWs in general. I love my pack, and although I do have quite a few and I know each by heart, and each has their own deep character I don't stop developing whether I have it written down yet or not.
I will use him rather actively in my life, when I get the time I may or may not make him a clay figure like I've done for some of my other characters, although it most likely wouldn't get painted since my parents won't buy me paint. He would also be drawn actively in my sketchbook, I have a hard time writing a bunch at one time so sometimes art is how I develop my characters, and I'll later bring it into words.

What would you do if you won Azrael?
If I won Azrael, I would probaby scream be really excited and doodle him quite a bit over everything. I would try to get a few headcanons and/or roleplays going for him depending on time, as I do get pretty busy. I would never forget about him, that's for sure. I promise he would be loved for as long as I possibly can, and he- along with my other characters- have a lasting effect on my life. I'll probably try to animate him every here and there, although any art I do after this competition will most likely not be shared on the Fanclub I will definitely keep you updated.

About your other RPWs?
I own many rpws, yes, but not as much as other users. I own a good, comfortable amount and don't plan on going over 25. Their pages are here, some having a lot of information down already and some not but I can assure you that each wolf is developed im just too lazy or don't have the time to actually type it all up. I love her dearly and they're constantly in my notebooks. I don't usually upload those but if you ever wanted to see one or two for proof I would be willing to show you so you don't think im just saying that ||D

There may not be any here right now, but that doesn't mean I haven't drawn him. I have tried to order a few pieces, however due to the close end date I was told they wouldn't be completed in time. I would have made plenty of art if I hadn't been sick and bombarded with homework. I have a goal that each of my rpws have at least 25 art pieces by the end of the year, and if I make him mine I promise i'll get plenty more art of him, especially though the DCAY thread.

His range goes from teenagers all the way down to those just starting to read, as he babysits any aged child. He goes by the name Bumble under this, rather than signing his name of as Azrael just for fun, although he claims "Bumble the bee sounds much more kid friendly than Azrael."

Pet(s); Adult Rottweiler by the name of Soto, Border collie mix puppy by the name of Mickey, Kitten by the name of Princess, a bunny by the name of Cleo.

Soto was adopted when Azrael was about 18, making Soto around 4 or 5. Raz picked him out at the shelter simply for company, until Azrael realized how sweet Soto was and decided to take the time to train Soto to be a therapy dog. Soto was a bit more difficult to train, but after waiting until Soto was a year old and about 18 weeks of solid training, he was eligible. Azrael loves to use Soto as a way to connect with other members in his community. { Based off of my Rottweiler and what I wanted to do }

Mickey was a different story. Az was walking around the neighborhood for fresh air, as he normally does, when a tiny black and white puppy caught his eye. It lay on the sidewalk, breathing shallowly. It turned out he was mistreated by his owners and left to die. Azrael couldn't help himself but to make sure proper treatment was given to the poor pup. He later ended up keeping him and surprising Soto with a friend. { based off of a dog at the shelter }

Then came Princess. Princess was the offspring of a stray cat that had a litter of 6. After animal control failed to capture Princess, he decided to take matters into his own hands and set up a trap himself so the kitten wouldn't die of hunger or the cold. Azrael, loving animals and not being able to say no when he noticed the tiny helpless ball of fluff, decided to keep her. Not much else happens other than he loves her company. Princess is a moody calico that hides from everyone other than Azrael and adores playing with Soto and Mickey. { Based off of my own cat actually }

Finally there's Cleo. Cleo was just another bunny at a pet store that Azrael was unable to keep himself from adopting. She was the smallest one and the oddball, being the only black and white bun they had at the store. He made sure Cleo had the best bunny cage there could possibly be as well as time with him. As Princess isn't one to watch TV, Cleo is the one to relax with Az when it's been a long day and always seems to make him smile. She has a sassy attitude and loves attention. { based off of my friends pet }

Home; Comfortable 2-story with a lower level and small basement, along with a large back yard complete with a pool and a play set in case children come to his home for him to watch for any reason.

Simple things;

Azrael can be described as many things, but a phrase to sum it up would be:
"Living life as if I died yesterday"

To start off, Azrael is an overall approachable guy that you want to be around. He cares a bunch for everyone and it shows. He's that smiling face holding the door open for you, or that one kid you are terrified of since he knows everyone but once you meet him you always want to be around him. He has a calming aura around him that makes those wish to be around him, he always has. He never turns down the opportunity to meet someone new and make a new friend. Right off the bat you can tell that this friendly guy is also extremely responsible and organized, the perfect guy to organize something to that one guy you trust to hold onto something since you know you'll lose it. He tends to be a little too organized however, labelling everything and making sure everything is working well. He isn't the one to freak out if everything gets messy though, he just prefers everything easy to find. Admittedly he has a habit of trying to clean things up, but that's just natural to him, nothing too big. Although he seems like that sweet guy that doesn't really do anything, he absolutely adores a good adventure. In fact, this is one of the many traits that help him get along with the children so well. He can make up an adventure and wishes to one day go on his own. He likes the idea of travel, however he would much rather chill out with his tiny friends that he babysits. Azrael plans on going around the world when his little pals are all grown up and don't need him anymore, at that point he does plan on having enough to go to more exotic places on the globe. Simple things like snorkeling, or the more terrifying things like sky diving intrigue him, and he would love to do it before he kicks the bucket. Until then, he lives his simple and happy lifestyle he is completely content with. He loves volunteering places and helping out in his community when he gets the time. He may not be the richest, but he certainly isn't the poorest and whenever he can he is giving himself to some kind of charity. He meets most of his friends at charities or other volunteer work, he'll immediately start talking to you on day one. Azrael is usually the first to notice a new face around an area he's familiar with, and usually the first to greet you. Azrael is the kind of person you want to be around, his optimistic attitude always brightening the mood of those who encounter him. Those who meet him may think he isn't the brightest, he usually keeps his brilliance to himself. He's one of those honor kids that know more than the teacher does about everything, making him not only a great student but an excellent turor for children. Speaking of children, Az has many qualities that make him perfect for the babysitting job.

As said before, he has many more qualities, and these pertain more to his babysitting. When someone watches your kids, you don't want some violent and angry devil-person. No, you want someone like Azrael that will not only watch your kids for a few hours but also act as a rolemodel and guide for your little pride and joy. Azrael is great with kids of any age, including babies. He's very good with them and just has this weird way of getting along perfectly. It's not exactly his paint either, although that does tend to help. Azrael has never been described as rough or brutal towards the kids, in fact he's never hurt one, even on accident. He makes sure each child is safe and comfortable with where they are. He would never force a child to do something, but does have a way to get children to do somehing they don't want to do, like doing chores. Azrael always manages to persuay the child into doing what they have to do, usually promising a game or something fun in return. Games are what he loves, playing with the children just comes naturally to him. He is basically an overgrown child himself, and tends to get more into it then they do. He even buys costumes for himself the kids to wear during their play, if they don't have any that is. He gets so caught up and can go on for days using the accent or even wearing the outfit if he's 'too lazy' to change out of it. (He still wears it for fun but just wont admit it.) He tends to get caught in his own fantasies though, sometimes wiggling a new character into a series he wrote or making a completely new one. Now, traveling back to the topic of children, he's extremely patient with them. They could be the brattiest kid ever, but Azrael will love them anyway. He refuse to quit the job, and acts like a fun (male) version of Nanny Mcphee, just nicer and less ugly.

Chews his pen caps
Come on, everyone has done it at least once in their life. You're bored, tired, don't even realize you're doing it? It was a habit when he was younger that he never grew out of. Azrael doesn't even realize he's doing it half of the time, it just kind of happens. He can't seem to break it either, and it's one of his... less appealing habits. It grosses people out, and they pretty much never think twice about not giving him a pen, unless it's a prank. He makes sure there's not anything that could make a fool of him on the pen, he doesn't want another face full of ink again.

Wears costumes for fun
This has been a thing with him ever since he was younger, he loves costumes. He may be a little bit awkward and clumsy but he loves to act and mess around, although he could hardly be called professional. He may not be good at acting but he is good at entertaining kids, and entertaining kids he does indeed. He'll make his own costumes or buy some for the little kids and himself, his wardrobe consisting of way too many costumes compared to the amount of 'normal' clothes. Granted, there's a whole trunk dedicated to the children he babysits, but nonetheless he just loves costumes and dressing up. He'll even wear them around the house when he's done and claims he's 'too lazy' to take it off, but this is a time where he lies. He adores the costume and the feeling it gives him and refuses to take it off. It's not rare to see him in public in a pirates costume, followed by a little fairy or small princess bounding behind him excitedly as he proudly leads the children on an adventure, outdoors and in public.

Scratches his palms when nervous
This is just a nervous tick he has, not everyone has them. When he is lying (if he lies, which is actually quite rare) or he's just stressing about something his palms tend to swest and get extremely itchy and he can't help but violently scratch them. Sometimes, if a situation is bad enough, he has to wear gloves or gauze wrap to make sure he doesn't scratch too hard and cut himself. This isn't an often thing and only really happens with small things he forgets to do that don't seem to be very big to others.

Constantly tries to finish people's sentences
It is said that the brain is constantly thinking of ways a persons sentence can finish, and for Azrael this is true. Very true. In fact, if you're in the middle of talking and he'll try to continue your sentence (if he knows you well enough) or predict what is going to happen. It's an annoying habit of his but if you're patient it ends up becoming a fun game where you try to do it to him as well. He's gotten better with keeping it to himself, but with close friends he can't help himself but to try.

When angry he mutters or yells in jibberish rather than anything else
This is probably another quality that makes him such a great babysitter, or just all around person in general. He never raises his voice, never tells or swears, but rather mutters in jibberish. Nobody gets him and sometimes this creeps others out, but it's honestly better than losing your temper and fighting with a little kid. Never once has he lashed out on a kid, no matter how challenging, and trust me some kids are definitely more challenging than others. He wants to set a good example for the kids, and even though it's hard to contain your anger it's better to let it out in a quick, violent whisper of nonexistent words. No violence, no yelling, just random jibberish that not venue can understand half the time.

When he doesn't know what to do he blurts out a random word
Azrael is, well, awkward. He's all around awkward and quite frankly he gets into awkward situations. He isn't the best with starting conversations, unless you're much younger than him and quite frankly he's a weirdo then. Now, there are those situations where it's just so awkward and nobody knows what to do he just yells out a random word. And by random, it's usually the first things hat comes to him mind, which is commonly food. For the most part it makes things much more awkward, but there are a few that'll restart the conversation and tell a story of one comes to mind with whatever he may have blurted out.

Fear of Failure//
Azrael has never liked the idea of failure, but who does? Nobody likes to fail, it leaves a bad feeling and sometimes others aren't too pleased with you. However, Az absolutely despises the idea of failure, especially with either of his jobs. He doesn't want to let others down, he hates the idea of that and would never be able to deal with the thought of failing a child or someone else he cares about. He's scared that if he fails that it'll make the kid hate him and it'll end up in him never being able to do the things he loves.

Fear of Abandonment//
This is just a minor fear that ebbs at him. It doesn't really come from anything that's happened to him, but watching movies as a kid spooked him into it. He feels like its another reason why he adopt so a many animals and tries to take care of kids, he never wants anyone or anything to feel like that. He's had that attitude since he was a child and he hasn't changed and never will. When he gets kid of his own, whether its by adoption or not, he will make sure that they never feel alone and abandon.

Fear of Cicadas//
Okay, so they don't scare him, but rather creep him out majorly. He doesn't like the annoying, ear-piercing sound that the make when they're in season, but the worst part is their shell. Azrael hates that exoskeleton that they shed, he thinks it's the most disgusting thing on earth. He was 'traumatized' when he was younger, when really all that happened was a cicada she'll fell on his head when he and Averil were messing around. They went to the park for some fun, and while Averil hummed along and had fun dancing around, little 9 year old Azrael stood there staring at the trees as if they were the most evil thing on earth. That's when Averil called him to one of the evil trees where Averil sat on and dropped a cicada shell she had found right into on his head. After that he couldn't find himself outside without remembering that terrifying shell staring at him, the crunching of it as he repeatedly crushed it under his shoe, and the horrified expression of Averil at the only violent thing she has ever seen Az do. He's gotten over it for the most part, but there is still that small glint of uneasiness that comes over him when they start to sound out.

Questions for Azrael

What is the biggest lie you've ever told
"I wouldn't call it a lie, but I have been telling the little kids I babysit that im secretly a superhero called Bumble the Brave and now they believe that im an actual superhero and constantly ask if I need to go save the world now or if they can be my side kick. I can't really tell them it was a joke because then they'll either call me a liar (which is considered a little kid swear word at their age) and give me the death glare. I have to wait until they're older but for now I guess we can consider this a lie?"

What's your favorite activity to do with the kids?
"Every kid is different, but when I have to watch multiple kids at once the zoo never seems to fail me. Every kid loves the zoo, even I love going to the zoo. Watching them run around, take pictures, or stare at something looking completely awestruck is just the best thing. I always take them to get their faces painted so they're able to look like an animal themselves. There's always a kid that wants their face painted like a clown, rather than an animal though. It's amusing, and it's usually the same kid I babysit 5 days a week."

What is your favorite season and why?
"This question seems easy enough... unfortunately I don't have a favorite season. Every season brings something amazing for me to do with the kids. Summer is a great season to start at, the blazing heat makes it perfect for swimming and teaching the younger ones how to swim, or staring at the clear starry skies and catching fireflies at night. My personal favorite activity in the summer is a long camping trip where we get to fish, sit by the campfire, and sing like that one episode in spongebob (except we don't die or get attacked or something in the end). Then there's winter, perfect time to watch movies and bake goods with the little ones as they talk about what they want for Christmas. I love taking them sledding, the teenagers do tend to get into some trouble though, trying to teach the younger ones how to surf which usually ends with them and a face full of snow. Spring is also good, but it's nothing special when it's colder out. I love autumn as well, I always manage to get the kids to do some physical activity! Raking the leaves into one big pile and then jumping into them is always great fun. Then there's spring, the only season im not a fan of. I do enjoy the new life look it has, unfortunately that new life includes those wretched Cicadas.


Questions for me

Why do you want Azrael?
I want Azrael for a couple of reasons, actually. For starters, his design is amazing, to say the least. But the appearance is only a small factor, what really came to me was the concept. I loved the concept I had in mind for him and hoped that I could make it real. I love making forms for characters, and by doing so it helps me take my mind off of things so it's a win win situation either way. I had lost a wolf using this concept already, and I think this bab would be perfect to take the originals place.

Why would you make a good owner for Azrael
Why would I make a good owner for Azrael? I don't forget my characters, not those that I spend hours on developing. Now you could say im not active in the community and stuff, but that doesn't mean im not active with my RPWs in general. I love my pack, and although I do have quite a few and I know each by heart, and each has their own deep character I don't stop developing whether I have it written down yet or not.
I will use him rather actively in my life, when I get the time I may or may not make him a clay figure like I've done for some of my other characters, although it most likely wouldn't get painted since my parents won't buy me paint. He would also be drawn actively in my sketchbook, I have a hard time writing a bunch at one time so sometimes art is how I develop my characters, and I'll later bring it into words.

What would you do if you won Azrael?
If I won Azrael, I would probaby scream be really excited and doodle him quite a bit over everything. I would try to get a few headcanons and/or roleplays going for him depending on time, as I do get pretty busy. I would never forget about him, that's for sure. I promise he would be loved for as long as I possibly can, and he- along with my other characters- have a lasting effect on my life. I'll probably try to animate him every here and there, although any art I do after this competition will most likely not be shared on the Fanclub I will definitely keep you updated.

About your other RPWs?
I own many rpws, yes, but not as much as other users. I own a good, comfortable amount and don't plan on going over 25. Their pages are here, some having a lot of information down already and some not but I can assure you that each wolf is developed im just too lazy or don't have the time to actually type it all up. I love her dearly and they're constantly in my notebooks. I don't usually upload those but if you ever wanted to see one or two for proof I would be willing to show you so you don't think im just saying that ||D

Art

There may not be any here right now, but that doesn't mean I haven't drawn him. I have tried to order a few pieces, however due to the close end date I was told they wouldn't be completed in time. I would have made plenty of art if I hadn't been sick and bombarded with homework. I have a goal that each of my rpws have at least 25 art pieces by the end of the year, and if I make him mine I promise i'll get plenty more art of him, especially though the DCAY thread.
