Actually, you can choke on air. I did it once. Me:*laughing* *swallows air* *chokes* It's like this air pocket that gets stuck in your throat..........--CIRCLETINEEEEEEEEEE

actually ... um ... hiccups are just a result of an agitation in the chest

... i think it was described as an oval like disc of cartilage / muscle tendons making the lungs breath, that get agitated and twitch - causing the hiccups

correct me if im wrong but that's what i remember when a doctor explained hiccups to me
