Am I the only one that thinks there's becoming too many diaries? At first it was cool but now there are a lot of them :s
I mean, lots of them are epic (way more epic than my log was) but some people aren't even putting effort into theirs and are just making them cause everyone else is.

I feel like Im gonna fall into the category..
Simply, sometimes I don't put effort in it. Then when I do, its insanely horrid from all of the drama and confusion.

I felt like a total hypocrite saying that cause I have a diary (even though I don't update it often anymore) but I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels that way :3

I totally agree. I am trying to keep up with writing two diaries, but the one I started first (Waffle) is being updated more that the other one (Donut.) It's just hard for me to work on two things at once, especially when I feel stronger about one than the other.

I totally agree. I am trying to keep up with writing two diaries, but the one I started first (Waffle) is being updated more that the other one (Donut.) It's just hard for me to work on two things at once, especially when I feel stronger about one than the other.

Yeah, I agree with you two. Some people just post a few sentences, and then leave it to rot. Other people basically just copied someone else, and made people think that it's their fabulous-diary-that-is-very-well-written.

Also, I resized the Diary Writer Banner into two different sizes. Are these okay? Credits to nyancat583 for the amazing banner!

I'm kinda worried... I want to redo my two main characters in my diary but I'm not sure if it'll go over well with people who read my diary
Any help?

As a wise man once said (well, nobody said this except for me that I'm aware of, actually), there are three important people yiu must regard when writing. In order of importance, from least to most: the readers. The editor. (Luckily, you don't seem to have one, considering we are on the Internet) And the most important: you. Follow what you want to do above all. If you don't want ro lose readers, then hold a poll or something. Haven't actually read your diary so I wouldn't know.

If even that you don't want to do, gradual character development is pretty useful, unless you'd like to edit everything in the past. Writing is, or should be, more of the actual words than the pictures, so if you wanna change the characters' appearance, fine too, as long as you insert some credible explanation. She dyes her coat for some trend, whatever. Unless you have something that absolutely requires people to visualise it correctly ("I'm purple! Thus, I got through this important obstacle. Somehow.") it should be fine.

Also, anyone wanna do a collab? I have a few things to get out of the way, but not many.
