DreamRunner hurried back to camp, EmptyEyes's scruff locked into his jaw as he served though the forest, not even slowing down when he ran over a few brambles, getting small thorns in his paws. DreamRunner soon saw the entrance of the camp ahead. Bursting through the entrance he ran across the camp clearing towards the medicine den.

[So no one noticed the deputy arriving at the scene of crime? Seems strange to me...]

"Well done!" She meowed, now scenting the air herself.
She caught the scent of a squirrel, and dropped into the hunters crouch.
She soon spotted it rustling around leaves on the ground. probably looking for nuts. she thought as she drew closer to the squirrel.
The squirrel was obviously to busy searching for food that it did not realize soon it would become food.
Dapplebriar pounced swiftly on it and quickly bit it's neck and thanked starclan for it's life.
easy catch. she thought as she brought it over to Owlpaw's blackbird and buried them so they could pick them up later.

"Thanks." The apprentice started, facing his mentor. "Should we each get one more then head back?" He suggested, even tilting his head a bit.

Silvertail - She-cat - Medicine Cat

The silver cat watched her apprentice walk up to her. "Alrighty, Mousestep, we'll need to go in to the forest and collect some burdock and horsetail and poppy seeds. Our stocks are doing fine, but it's better to be safe than sorry", explained Silvertail, as she began walking towards the camp entrance. Walking outside, she found herself in the beautiful forest that SunClan called home. "Do you smell any of those herbs nearby, Mousestep?", she asked her apprentice.

MouseStep closed her eyes and lifted her nose to the air, sniffing the scent of the forest. She lips tightened in focus. "Hmm..I think...Poppy seeds?" She meowed. MouseStep knew how all the herbs in the den smelled, and found them with ease normally. But this time, she seemed rather confused about the scent. As if she was fairly new to it.

The silver she-cat lifted her nose into the air to smell the fresh pine air. She closed her eyes and concentrated on finding the scents of some herbs. "Hmmm...yes, I suppose there are some poppy flowers near by", she replied to her apprentice. "Anything else, Mousestep?"

MouseStep sniffed the air again, it was hard to pinpoint scents in bare-leaf, all this cold getting in the way. "I think...some horsetail. Er..that way." The small she-cat vaguely gestured to where the scent was coming from with her tail.

"D-D...." Emptyeyes trailed off. The white tom's voice rose to a shrill wail. "I-I can't see!"

Owlstar sat at the front of her den when she noticed Pebblecloud approaching. She sensed this was something important... and personal. "Greetings, Pebblecloud," she meowed. Owlstar gestured her white tail tip to her den, which was a hollowed out place in the back side of the Sunrock, covered by moss. "Come in," she said firmly and dipped her head to the queen.

Silvertail - She-cat - Medicine Cat

"Good!", purred the Medicine Cat. "Now, let's go get those poppyseeds and put them on leaves and tie those leaves with grass. Like when we prepare traveling herbs. This will be the easiest way to carry them back to camp", said Silvertail, as she began walking in the direction that her apprentice had gestured.

(Hmmm...I'd add Blade to this rp but she is a bit of an evil char..)
