Dusk blinked when walked past, and her gaze darkened a bit. She turned around once more to look at the other female, and she snarled a bit.
Coruvus tilted his head up, looking back at Dusk, then took another step back. "Well, as much as I'd love to comply, girl, I value my own life and safety over a madman's job," he muttered as he looked down at the girl, then back at May, Vlandore and his hounds. He snapped his gaze to Vlandore a moment, and the other male nodded a bit in acknowledgement as Coruvus clapped his hands together. Claw and Bone turned and bolted from the area, Bone separating from Claw to jump in front of Karma. He barked at the other male, nodding his head off at Claw, attempting to get the other male to follow them. Coruvus followed behind his hounds, and stood beside Claw as the hound skidded to a stop. The man, and the hound for that matter, looked back to Bone and Karma, and Coruvus waved a hand. "You may want to stay out of that forest for a while, boy," he called to him.
"We don't want to stay here," Vlandore said as he looked at May. "We should go, and probably leave Coruvus alone. Dusk isn't going to let him be hurt, because she knows what I know; he's not a bad guy."
"The most simple of rules mandates that nothing is set in stone," Dusk said, her voice gradually warping a bit as blackness cloaked her form. "Countless multiverses, and in turn, countless paths... that is true beauty; true beauty, true logic, is that nothing is predictable." The shadows danced around her form, and she narrowed her eyes one last time as she walked in front of the other female. The gaze of her eyes made the outcomes obvious; if she is to back off, the shadows would likely retract and in turn Dusk's emotions would probably stabilize. Though if she insisted on pressing on the now unstable woman, Vasen would inevitably release.
