He tore the rat away from his face and chucked it
square for Rendan's head.

Rendan squealed and ducked, the rat flying over her head. " G-Galus! Why did you do that?!"

[Tricksters]

He laughed, messing with his hair.
"Because."

[Underdrag]

Rendan huffed, pouting. " Have you even found anything useful? Did you look upstairs?"

[Tricksters]

"No and no." He replied, kicking the floor.
"I'm being slow."

[Underdrag]

" ... It's okay. I just want to find a safe place for you..." She sighed, then hugged him. " We still need to check the upstairs. For... For reasons."

[Tricksters]

"Out of all people you want me to be
safe?" He asked more as a statement than
a question.

[Underdrag]

" I... Yeah... Are you that put off by my behavior to you?" She let go of him, stepping back and looking away.

[Tricksters]

He shook his head.
"I didn't mean that, I meant, well,
ugh never mind I'm sorry." He put his hands in
his hair.

Rendan sighed, turning and heading up the stairs. " You search the rooms on the left, and I'll search the ones on the right."
