Ghostpaw almost let out a merrow of laughter turning his head over his shoulder to reply "Oh yes because you're such a fun cat to be near" he retorts "I am sure your mentor thinks you are just a ball of joy" Ghostpaw shakes his head, yeah he isn't the most friendly cat in the clan, but at least he doesn't actually attempt to claw his mentor.

Lionpaw lay panting on the leaves. "I win." He breathes out tiredly from where he lay. He had only gotten there a few seconds before Shortpaw. Shakily standing back up, he tried to catch his breath. "Not too bad yourself though" he purred in ragged breaths.

Jaypaw sneered after him, ignoring get mentor or the time being as she followed after him. "Oh no you didn't. You want to mess with me? I bet I could beat you faster than I can blink."

Ghostpaw turned around "Well unlike you I would rather not sit and get lectures all day, but somebody ought to put you in your place and I honestly wouldn't mind other than the fact it would be like fighting a kit" he sneered his tail lashing back and forth in annoyance.

"A kit? Oh sure. Well at least I have FAITH. Don't think I don't know. You're pathetic. To think I was originally going to ask you to help me with fighting moves once we began them. Now I see you're just am ungrateful tom-cat and the only thing you care about is yourself." She spat, looking surprisingly calm.

"If you two don't stop this right now, I will make sure that neither of you leave the apprentice's den for the next moon!" He snarled. He then turned to Jaypaw.
"You go over there to Stormbird and wait until I get back. She'll tell me if you try to leave."
He turned to Ghostpaw.
"You come here. We're going to go find your mentor."

Shortpaw walked into the clearing and began to groom, allowing the rain to help her clear her pelt.
"I'll beat you someday, you'll see!" She sneered good heartedly.
"Once I get bigger. I can't believe I'm like the oldest apprentice, and one of the smallest!"

Ghostpaw's eyes blazed in anger"Why does it matter to you what I believe in?" he spat his claws sinking into the "And why do you assume you know everything about everycat?" His voice wavering momentarily. Ghostpaw shook his head and turned back around continuing towards the apprentice den regretting the bit of weakness he allowed into his voice, the last thing he needed was some cat digging around for his life story.
