Frenzy and Lucky Dice.

Since I don't hoard to keep, two is already "hoarding" to me. I missed this outcome when I originally adopted the litter, and was going crazy for one (like everyone else). I tried hoarding newborns wherever I could find ones for trade while frantically posting on the swap thread. I had a few blankets that were adopted later when I noticed my friend had an extra, so I overpaid and got Frenzy who is named after my initial struggle. And lo and behold, I had the outcome all along in one of my late blankets. xD Since I feel I lucked out when adopting random newborns, I named her Lucky Dice.

I was rather amused by the way I got them, so I decided to keep both. c: It's the closet I've ever come to hoarding, aside from looking for monthly extras to trade.

I have 23 hoards... most of them are just dogs I find so beautiful that I can't trade my extras away. Since I have a few, why not add a few more? ^^; Or so they end up being. Better to have a pretty dog in hand than a not so wanted one in trade folder.

I adore mythical creatures. My name is based on a phoenix, hence why one of my hoards is based on firey colors that have some sort of dark color also in them:


I have a hoard of Kirins that are based off the characters in the anime 12 kingdoms.


Dragons! Now all I need to do is make a hoard of griffins.



Then I've got the broken heart horses. Yes the hoard is named after a Care Bear, but I really so like this design.


Then of course, the fish:

I started collecting these when I lived in Japan. The old line art looked like a koi as seen in a pond. When the lineart changed, I simply kept the hoard.

I even have a hoard of dogs in kimonos:


I really miss Japan. Putting together these hoards makes me feel better in some strange way.

Then of course, like how your hoard ended up, I had one, then I got more to be family. I was ecstatic when more leopard dogs was released in Jan.

Growing up, I loved the fall because it made the walk home from school less boring. I tried to collect all colors of leaves before I got home. Mom would get mad if I tried to bring them in the house though. This hoard is an omage to that.


When I joined CS, I loved the 2nd gens. I preferred natural colored dogs over the 'funny' colors of pink and blue and green. Toxics were my least favorite. My opinion has changed since then, but this litter reminded me of my first days on CS. It is not often we get good natural colored dogs.

My hoard of spots and stripes was created when pets were only 15 to a page or something like that, 5 to a line. We could also change the url so that as many pets as you wanted could be seen at a time. I may end up trading this hoard since the effect no longer works.


NEW HOARDS!

My favorite book growing up was Call of the Wild, so I started a smallish hoard for the characters.


The "Final Fantasy" hoard. I love the series and these pets are a perfect representation for them.

Celebration was my first hoard, and it was also my only hoard to ever be on the CS Hoard Records.


Autumn Leaves is a newer hoard of mine. I decided to hoard them because they had a rainbow-y appearance to me and I love rainbows, and because my favourite season is fall. Oh, and my name is Autumn. xD *shot*


Shimmering Rain was my second hoard, I believe. Unfortunately, I haven't actually added to the group in months; while they used to be such common pets, these guys were the second-most Uncommon from their litter and with the retirement of the couple my hoard really went downhill.


Race With Caution is a fairly small hoard of mine. I just liked the design a lot, and Bobtail Dogs are gorgeous.


Darkened Glory is my newest hoard. I had some extra candy left over and ~DarkenedGlory~ is a very special friend, so I just had to. c: Along with the design being beautiful, they're very special to me.

I used to hoard Cats and had a total of 527 until I gave them away to the biggest Cat hoarder on ChickenSmoothie for some '08 Rares - we wanted to record it as the largest trade ever i CS history. xD I ended up sending the trade in chunks of 100 in fear of the server having a spazzy moment or something. I'm glad that they went to such a lovely home! <3

Cathedral of Airistos features the Stained Glass dogs from September. (5 of each, except the PPS, for a group of 20)

Die Deutschen Pferde is a collection of the Marius horses from October. I have 20 of these because I like a good even number, but since the lines are uneven, I might go after one more.

East Shawbrook Cemetary is a group of the August Statues, 15 whole and 5 broken.
I'm still on the lookout for three of the broken dogs to finish this hoard.

Skies of Pride is a hoard based on the seven sins, led by my own greatest problem, Pride (the floating dog, officially named Lucifer). The dogs in this hoard are from the Lullabye litter from May.

Seas of Modesty is that hoard. Made of the Antique litter from December 09, it has one off-white (Altruissta/Humility), six tri-tails (for the other six virtues), and six curl-tails.

From the Eyes to the Heart is the hoard that will never be finished, as long as there are bicolor-eye dogs on CS. I just love that trait, especially the red-blue combos as seen with Tassel Mouse:

I have 2 hoards going right now (since I stopped collecting for my unicorn hoard):

Far Side of the Moon is my favorite dog litter from this year. Eventually, I hope to get some dogs from my birthday (9/23), but until then, I'm collecting all dates. I love the combination of natural colors and circular designs; and, of course, I like the space/alien theme.

Meteorology Ponies is my first hoard. I started it in January with the weather ponies and when I couldn't find any more of them, I expanded the group to include the hurricane and tornado ponies from May. I love weather and storms, and lots of people don't collect horses, so this is my biggest group. If any horses with a snow theme come out with the advent, I'll collect them too!
