Hey everyone, I was wondering if there was going to be a Valentine's day roleplay? Like maybe a dance or somehing if anyone is interested? Like a sweethearts dance, and if your plumerian is single (like both of mine) they could go alone and try to meet someone or with a group of friends just because? I dunno, I thought it would be fun >u<"

When you were competing to win your plumie(s) what was the hardest part of it? What were you most nervous about?

Akatora: He was my first so I was really, really nervous. I wanted to get into the community and I really connected to his character, I still do have a connection to him.
Chase: His competition as really stressful, I've repeated it a lot but I was competing against a friend who had a really, really good form. I'm really glad she got an ru though because she definitely deserves her. (Plus Sani is just really cute)
Hadley: I was on vacation while I was waiting for her to judge and school had just started right after that, I wasn't too nervous then... I was still really happy when I won her though.
Monty: He was a raffle, I wasn't expecting that at all.
Prosper: Aafhasjkdfh I was working on #183 (Chase) at the time while it was judging but I was still nervous about the contest.

How do you develop your plumies?

Usually when I'm upset I'll just add on to whichever plumie I'm connected to the most, which usually is Monty. Unfortunately I'm really having trouble developing any of them just because of things going on right now.

Are your plumies the same as they were when you started out with them?

Ha, nope. Monty started out as a gambler, Prosper started out as an assassin... Yeah there was a lot of changes.

Do all of your plumies live in a human-like world, or an animal like world? Do they live in different worlds?

I keep mine in human form really, but I have a feral "world" too.

When you were competing to win your plumie(s) what was the hardest part of it? What were you most nervous about?
Igneel // Dealign with the constant fear that all my work would be for nothing. That and waiting for the judging oh my word.
Grape // Waiting for the judging. n v n I already knew exactly what I wanted to do for my entry, waiting was definitely the hardest part.
Christopher // Replicating his design in the art I did aa
Dancer // gETTING OVER JEN'S NICENESS OKAY

How do you develop your plumies?
Roleplay mostly. n v n
I also enjoy thinking out their backstories, where they've been and what they've gone through.
That and listening to music and imaging them. //D

Are your plumies the same as they were when you started out with them?
Nope. Some of them are really drastically different, but that's because they've gone through so much.

How does your plumie(s) handle lots of stress?
Igneel ;; Immerse yourself in distractions most of the time. Regardless of how often stress occurs it doesn't seem I can handle it any better than when I began. Lately the kind of stress I'm going through isn't the kind that can just be ignored or fixed and it's tearing me apart.
Grape ;; Confront it head on or watch anime to cool off.
Christopher ;; I generally like sitting down and thinking things through rationally before jumping to any decisions. Usually cooling off helps me think clearer in stressful situations. u v u
Dancer ;; Taking long walks or hanging out at the bar.

How would your plumie(s) cheer themselves up?
Igneel ;; Reading or talking to others is usually stress relieving. Sometimes a nap is nice, but I hate to risk the nightmares. Sight seeing is also nice.
Grape ;; ANIME. MANGA. SNACKS. Sounds like another day in paradise to me!~
Christopher ;; Hanging out with friends? Right now I've been hanging out with Grape a lot and he helps me calm down. u v u " I'm in a hard situation with housing right now so there's that.
Dancer ;; Chatting with the guys or going for walks most of the time.

Has your plumie ever had an unrequited crush or love? What did they do about it?
Igneel ;; Don't get me started on that. Really don't.

They all live in the same world, though sometimes I think Dancer is almost off on his own. The worlds are intermingling at times. Most live in a human world by default, but I occasionally switch things up or use AUs to introduce them to new situations and 'worlds' to explore. e v e

When you were competing to win your plumie(s) what was the hardest part of it? What were you most nervous about?
Pretty much prettying up and cropping an image to fit in with my form for Korowai as well as using inspiration within my own country instead of elsewhere. I never thought my form would be creative enough to win. As for being nervous, it's probably when judging was taking a bit of a while qvq'

How do you develop your plumies?
almost always through roleplaying, and also with the help of a few good friends.

Are your plumies the same as they were when you started out with them?
no, not at all ^ ^ Koro started out as a rogue living on the island of Papua.

How does your plumie(s) handle lots of stress?
he'd kick a few pillows and plow through a forest survival mission-style.

What would your plumie(s) do when given a confrontation from someone whose wrong in the situation? What if the other person was right?
he'd not be very patient, in either situation expect a lot of yelling.

How would your plumie(s) cheer themselves up?
tea and a cup of nostalgia always does the trick for Koro. and a day with Perth too.

hmmm. hMM.

but I am SUPER EXCITED to announce that I won my little Nadia! :D



She's Kade and Monty's second child, a spunky girl who's usually pretty calm,
but has a low tolerance for sicrimination and a passion for music and tussling.

It was a simple naming contest so I was worried my name wasn't as good as the others

Nope, I might have changed her a bit

What would your plumerian(s) look like with DreamSelf?
Gretchen would look like this, only her left eye is actually white - I couldn't find the right eyes for her.

When you were competing to win your plumie(s) what was the hardest part of it? What were you most nervous about?
I won her in a raffle so there wasn't much I could do except trying to get as many tickets as I was able to within the time limit. I honestly didn't think I was going to win her and therefore wasn't very nervous as everybody had about equal chances to get her, however, when I was announced as the winner I was really, really happy. ^-^

How does your plumie(s) handle lots of stress?
Gretchen reads a good book in stressful situations: focusing on something else and living another life for a brief time helps her lock all the worries away.

What would your plumie(s) do when given a confrontation from someone whose wrong in the situation? What if the other person was right?
If they were wrong, Gretchen would explain that to them and prove them wrong. If they were right, she would be all like "Oh jeez, take a chill pill..." and slowly back off without damaging her pride and self-confidence.

How would your plumie(s) cheer themselves up?
It depends. Sometimes she would eat sweets or junk food, other times treat herself with something relaxing or talk to people she finds interesting (in a good way, of course).

Gretchen is often a little bit grumpy and deadly serious with strangers and any person she doesn't like, especially kids who turn their library books in late or aren't quiet enough in the library. However, she tends to be a lot nicer once you get to know her and gain her trust. She is a creative, patient and empathetic plumie with a passion for ballroom dance and astronomy in her free time.
