Hey guys!
Just wanted to let everyone know that my friend is doing fine. He was at a trampoline park on Saturday and fell on his side over a metal bar. He was in pain for a few days before finally telling his mom and she took him to a doctor, who said that he should be at the hospital because it looked like some kind of toxins were leaking into his system. They couldn't tell if he had ruptured a bowel or if his appendix was getting ready to rupture. They took him into surgery yesterday morning at like 3AM, and had to make a bigger incision than they thought they would because they couldn't tell what was causing the issue. It turns out he had perforated his appendix and it was leaking into his colon, so they went ahead and took it out. He'll be in the hospital for about a week before he can go home, and then is on bed rest for at least another week. I went to see him last night and he seems to be doing well. He's tired and sore, but he was really happy to have some friends over and we brought him some flowers and a card and stayed for a while so his mom could go home and shower and get some food.

Wow small world, my step-neice's appendix ruptured a week or so ago. She is only 6 and I felt really bad that she had to go through that. It's good to hear that things were took care of before worsening as they could have.
