Wow, okay so you're saying you
feel ganged up on and then accuse us
indoor kitty owners of keeping our
adored felines in 'kitty jail'? I can
assure you my cats are extremely
happy, healthy and loved. I do not
appreciate you basically accusing me
of abusing my cats!

How is keeping them inside abuse? I never said abuse, it's just not a thing a cat would like. They prefer to be indoor+outdoor cats with free will

You can make sure that cat never gets exposed to things he is allergic to. We have a cat that cannot eat grain, gluten, meat by-products, etc. The food that we feed is a ton more than we pay for raw for my cat, and we buy expensive premade stuff. Not only that, but raw has so many health benefits. I will never go back to kibble, or even canned, with my kitty!
That's why I'm loving this raw diet! I can give them each EXACTLY what they individually need and nothing else

@Winter Soldier, how else do you expect to find this information??
I'm not even offended by the kitty jail comment. I know 100% my cats are in better and safer care.
Thank you Punchy!

But not care they enjoy as much as the wind in their fur and their life's free. My cats are in good care to, and my one cat which is kept inside (due to his own opinion and hate for being outside) is less healthy then my in/out cats.

@Talsr- My cat is terrified of the outdoors lol. She much prefers to be safe and sound indoors where she won't get eaten by one of the members of the local coyote population or run over by a car. I mean, yeah, she gets outside on her harness, but she always very happy to go inside.

I just don't see why you'd put your cat's life and the lives of your local wildlife at risk by allowing your cat outdoors. She still feels 'the wind in her fur'... and she hates it lol. If he's less healthy then he's probably lacking something in his care- not because he doesn't go outside!
Throw those hooves right over my shoulders
Cause I seen the way you look at me, doefriend, when you smoulder
Come here, queer deer, and shake that thing around
Cause you get me so high that I gotta go down

Talsr wrote:Its like you guys basically are keeping your cat in a jail, only when they get to be let out they have a heavy uncomfortable thing on their body, and they have a limit to where they to. Cats don't deserve to be treated like this.
That doesn't sound like you're
accusing someone of abuse? That
sounds like abuse to me, which it
is not. I can almost 100% guarantee
my indoor cat's safety. Can you
guarantee your indoor/outdoor
cat's safety from predators, poison
and injury?

My cat was already on a high quality diet, but the transformation since raw has been AMAZING. My mom refuses to raw feed her cats, but she raves about the raw diet to anyone who asks. My cat is ten months old, and has been on raw since six months. Already on canned and dry, his teeth were yellowing. He has pearly whites now, the softest, shiniest coat I have ever felt, and the litter box is amazing. His coat went from long and thin on canned/dry, to thick and shorter on raw, which was interesting. His colors have gotten brighter, too. His black stripes are so stunning now.

My cats hate the outdoors only thing they like is chewing on grass.

Oh wow, really? I'll have to look into a raw diet closer then. One of my cats has a really thin coat that's not smooth, and has only improved a bit from switching over to allergen food. She is a little butt, but I want her to be as healthy as possible.
(Also I love the gif in your siggy ;3 )

Yep! All of our cats' coats have improved with adding salmon oil, as well. I only started giving my boy salmon oil in addition to his raw this past week, so his nice coat is due to just the raw. There are some good groups on Facebook. My personal favorite is Cats Completely Raw and Proud. I find it informative and helpful. Most raw groups are more dog oriented. If there are any natural pet stores near you, they should be able to give you great information on raw diets. Don't be discouraged if your vet isn't supportive, not all are. However, just like human doctors, they aren't always right. I strongly suggest doing your own research and seeing if a raw diet works for you and your pets. While I do believe it is the best, it is only so if you do it correctly. I think that is why so many vets fear it. You have to make sure they're getting all the correct nutrients, and not everyone is willing to put in that effort.
(Thanks ;D)
