Once their was a group of cats, a clan, if you were. They didn't have a name, had no reason to give themselves a name, there wasn't any other cats near them, except for loners that sometimes appeared, and the few kittypets that ventured into their territory. They lived very happily, often sunning laying down and sunning themselves, or playing games with the kits, when they weren't out hunting. That's when things started to change for the worse. A group of loners, rogues, and daring kittypets were forming on the edges of their land. They didn't know this just yet, but they were noticing missing prey and strange scents on their territory. Still, they kept on living the same way, catching their prey and relaxing. Soon, the rogues were upon them, demanding that they give up their territory and leave. Of course they fought, but the rogues won, the clan losing miserably, not having the advantage of surprise. They left and tried to live on the outskirts of the territory. The rogues called themselves Loneclan, and passed on the tale of their victory to generations to come. One kit thought the tail was of cruelty, and decided to do something about it. He left camp at one night to track down the clan, and found them after many, many moons. He was old enough to be a young warrior by then, so the clan gave him his name, Couragefur. He showed them how to fight, and led them back to the old camp. They drove Loneclan out, and let out yowls of victory. It was not as happy a moment as they would have liked it to be, though, because there were two important deaths during that battle. Leafstar had lost her last life, and so had her deputy, Oakpelt. All of the clan wanted Couragefur to be leader. When Couragestar came back from recieving his lives, he called upon his clan, stating that, "We aren't just any clan now, we have tales to tell, adventures to remember, and a new name. We are Courageclan!"

lawl more like a "what's happened so far" sort of deal. In the beginning there was a lot of your normal clan drama, love triangles (namely Couragestar, Moonstripe, and Whirlwind's) and the like. Also, Grainpelt, the medicine cat, has had kits. The thing that's of main note is that we just recently had a fire, so most of the territory is in ruins. Also, a newcomer, who happens to be a dog, has been befriended by Grainpelt. He seems very wise.... We'll have to wait and see what's in store next

Courageclan's camp is in an underground cavern, with some caves branching off of it. The leader's den is underneath an overhang of rock, which is used to call meetings. Couragestar has dragged some branches off of some bushes to surround the den for privacy. The warriors den is a large cave off to the right of the cavern. The nursery is opposite of the elders' den, and the tunnel that leads into it is longer then the ones leading to the other dens. The apprentice's den is a bit smaller than the warriors den, and is next to the nursery. The elders' den is in between the leaders den and the warriors den, and is about the same size as the nursery. There's a hole in the ceiling that leaves a bit of sunlight outside of the elder's den.
The medicine den is next to the leaders den, and the tunnel leading into it is very short. After you pad through the tunnel, you reach a small clearing with a pool of water to the left, a trickle of a waterfall falling into it from above. Right next to the small tunnel, to the right, is where moss is stored, with a nest next to it that the medicine cat sleeps on. At the back of the clearing, is another small cave that the medicine cat sleeps in and stores the herbs. The roof of the clearing has a medium sized hole in the cieling, leaving the cave floor in the clearing sunny and warm for recovering cats.
On the very edge of the territory is a gorge, which becomes a plain river if you follow it long enough. The river leads to a small pool outside of the territory, where the water is so clear you can see little shards of shiny rock at the bottom. When the moon hits the pool, the rocks shine and look like a thousand stars. Because of this, the cats call it the Star pool, and it is where leaders go to receive their nine lives.
The rest of their territory is forested, but there is a twoleg-place not so far from their borders, and a moor past their forests. In the forest, there is a grassy clearing used for training apprentices.

Cream-eye - A milky white she-cat who was pretty when she was young, now her fur comes up in patches even when it's groomed, which it usually isn't. She went blind in her right eye while she was an apprentice, so she had to learn a special way of fighting to make up for the lost sense. Rped by me.

Bluebelly - a silvery blue tom. Owned by Moonshine + Redpool
Leafheart - A calico she-cat with green eyes. Died giving birth in the clan. Couragestar gave her a warrior name after she died, in the hopes she could gain a spot in Starclan. Rped by me.
