Aha, I remember seeing that first picture -- cracked me up when they had blue roan and red roan on there because I feel like they're pretty well-known colors xD Maybe that's just me.
I'm good with making Arabians, but do you mind specifying which other light breeds? ^^ I'm not opposed to making them, but our poll tells me that warmbloods and drafts are actually the ones I should be making the most of.
I'll do my best to incorporate those colors! The one you don't know is a grullo, by the way c: Our resident grullo just doesn't have any white markings.

Personally, I would love to see a
Connemara pony or two. In my opinion, it is a pony like no other; a picture of beauty and athleticism rather than cuteness and toughness. This pony is creating quite a name for itself, becoming a popular breed for small adults as well as children. The Connemara pony has good paces and makes an excelllent competitive mount. It is frequently grey in colour, although black, brown, bay, chestnut and roan individuals exist. Dun and palomino are seen very rarely in this breed of pony.
Akhal-Tekes are a horse breed with a history going back 3,000 years. In addition to that, they often have a metallic sheen on their coats. Some points of their conformation may seem poor but make no mistake, the Akhal-Teke is a tough breed. In 1935, a group of Akhal-Teke horses were ridden from Ashkabad in Turkmenistan to Moscow in Russia. A distance of a whooping 4,000 kilometres was covered in as little as 84 days. Akhal-Tekes are considered to be a hot-blooded breed and sometimes are labeled as having tricky temperaments.
And another
Gelderlander or two might not go to waste either!

I've been wondering for some time now if adding another layer to the editable would help with the Piebalds/Skewbalds? The layer could be the skin or something (geez I'm terrible with Oekaki - Pencil and doodles are my medium). It could help with the awkward too-bright white or other details that are making them harder for you by adding some black or pink coloration underneath as well as the darker patches. You might also be able to do blue waves in the detail. There would have to be some tweaking to find the opacity to bring just enough color through to look like skin without interfering too much aesthetically. Just a suggestion I've been toying with.

herro der mes amis, i am believe. proud canadian, ottb loving, colt breaking, nfr dreaming. pictured on the left is my racetrack reject, landofmakebelieve, aka molly, moo, shmoo, whatever name comes to mind x] molly is a 10 year old canadian bred thoroughbred mare, and standing at about 16.2hh, we look a little wonky when we chase cans, but la dee da that's alright. molly and i tried several disciplines. i tried desperately to get her to catch on to dressage, but unfortunately, she still has the race bred mind and is all go. however, together we found a discipline which we could both enjoy; western gaming. this summer we started travelling to barrel races locally. our current record on a standard size pattern is 17.314 and we are improving with every run. and to all the low budget barrel racers out there such as myself, a word of advise; chin up darling. you may not have a million dollar mount under your butt, but you and your crossbred, rejected, hard headed, rescue baby can do it. you know why? cause those girls sitting in their custom circle y's, upon shiny, top of the line mounts are full of themselves. they think there's no way they can lose. they get cocky. stay humble, believe in yourself, in your horse, and most importantly ride your little heart out.
