Nightstorm had finally stood. Cupid got onto her back, "Want to see if she can fly still?" The grey wings were ready to flap. Nightstorm fluttered her wings.

Kaiya nodded and watched Nightstorm in amazement.

Dipper shook his head.

Kaiya looked at Cupid, noticing his wings. "Can you fly?" She asked quietly.

Giving the book one last, quick glance, Charlotte returned it to Dipper. he could very well be lying-- but she didn't hear his heartbeat rising higher than it was already at. "Pity..." She muttered unenthusiastically. "Well if you ever find another.. Show me..." She commanded, her devilish look staring deep into Dipper's soul.

Dipper nodded, uncertain. He grabbed the journal and held onto it.

Charlotte plopped down on the ground, lifting her wings up a bit so she didn't accidentally step on them. "So tell me about yourself-- everything. Why are you called Dipper? It's a constellation in this world, is it not?" She asked curiously scanning Dipper over and over again with her eyes as she tried to grasp all the information possible.

Dipper hesitated. "Why do you need to know?" He asked calmly.

Charlotte blinked at him, "Oh, well, you see, I am the kind of creature that thirsts for information." She explained. He knew she would use drastic measures to get information, as shown by the journal.

Dipper paused. He slowly started backing away from Charlotte.

Lottie was used to making people scared of her, so she just scoot herself forward with every inch that Dipper got away. You're not going anywhere, Dipper...
