Rider's Design;
Fey stands at 5ft 6inches. He, like his family and pervious tribe all adorn copper red hair and pale skin with freckles. His tribe haled from Scotland and never gained trust in wolves. This lead to their eventual eradication but due to their isolated life style they have been able to hold onto the famed accent throughout the generations. Fey knows a few languages but prefers English, to him it's everyone else who sounds funny. Dressed in fur and tanned leather with the occasional cotton scrap of fabric, his rural and impoverished life style shows.

~Journal of Failbhe “Fey” Lachlan~
Day 3 of week 126
-I followed the stream farther North West,
day by day moving
farther away from the ruins of home.
I have spotted a herd of mammoth that seem to be
following the stream as well.
While keeping my distance
I hope they will lead me to plants and game.
I fear straying away from the river,
for it has been a good source of fresh water and fish.
Day 6 of week 142
-I followed the mammoth herd for a few weeks,
they lead me to a new supply of water.
There seems to be more game here and
fishing has been good.
I built a snow cave in a nearby hillside,
I have a great view of the valley and
little can sneak up on me.
Day 1 of Week 149
-Hard lesion learned,
mother bears make dens in the hill side
when to giving birth in.
I can’t tell if she found me by
accident or due to smell.
I was able to escape with almost all
of my supplies
but lost half of my food stock.
Will have to find a new location for
my snow cave.
Day 4 of Week 151
-Built new snow cave,
gave myself plenty of emergency escapes.
Even picked up a few of dad’s old tricks
and made some tunnels have
trigger points for collapse.
Making it harder for predators to enter.
Game is good in the valley and
I have plenty of food to last me.
I have been able to fish every day
and catch small game.
There are many eatable plants
and roots in the area
that the mammoths are munching on.
Will stay here as long as food holds out.
Perhaps I will even find a friendly tribe,
could use more tools and at this rate
will have plenty of food to trade.
Day 5 of Week 157
-I have spotted Wolves in the area again.
They too seem to have picked up on the
rare abundance of game
and fresh water in the valley.
Keeping out of sight,
working hard to cover tracks and remove scent
when and wherever possible,
as dad had taught us.
Day 7 of Week 157
-Wolves still in area, no sightings
but have heard them call.
Went to stream for water today
and saw fresh track.
Spotted remains of kill down in the valley,
bears had found it as well.
Must have chased off the wolves…for now.
Day 2 of Week 158
-Food supplies are running low,
I will have to take the chance of
running into wolves
to avoid running out of food.
Refuse to let my home become my tomb.
Will go fishing at the frozen river area,
Wolves are less likely to be in an area with
no running water and prey locked
blow feet of ice.
I can dig a hole to fish through.
Day 3 of Week 158
-Wolf riders,
the wolves I have been tracking
and hearing are
some of the wolves who have paired
up with humans.
They found me while I was fishing,
they seemed friendly but I was not about to
hang around and find out.
One of the wolves ate my catch.
I left my supplies behind,
I will not be able to replace those items.
Day 4 of Week 159
-Without fishing pole and knifes
I have been unable to replenish my food supply.
Things are looking grim.
Day 5 of Week 160
-I have run out of supplies,
unable to catch food,
I have grown weak.
Have not left cave for past three days.
I had a good run,
I will be with family soon.
Day 2 of Week 164
-I was discovered and rescued
by the tribe of wolf riders I had run into previously.
They have taken me to their tribe
and in exchange for saving my life
I am to help hunt and fish
for twelve months.
I am unsure about their alliance with the wolves.
Dad was never very fond of wolves.
Day 3 of Week 164
-I am slowly re-gaining strength.
A constant parade of people have meet me and
I am having a hard time remembering
all of their names.
They tell me I have a funny accent,
the leader of the tribe recognized it
and was able to accuracy translate my name.
I am impressed by his knowledge and hope
I can earn his trust.
Day 5 of Week 165
-Wolves aren’t so bad after all.
My name translates to “Wolf slayer of Lochs”
it is an old Scottish name,
handed down by my parents.
I am being teased and called “Wolf hugger of Lochs”,
it seems to all be in good fun.
The leader of the tribe had respected
my wishes to hunt alone,
for the most part I have stayed out of the tribal life.
Never being one for social interaction
I am finding this group of people charming.
Day 1 of Week 213
-My twelve months of payment are over,
however I found leaving,
trekking out into the wilderness alone unthinkable.
With too many close calls in the past
I had learned that trying to make
it alone was risky business.
I am going to ask the tribal leader
if there is by chance
a place for me in this tribe.
Day 2 of Week 213
-I have been given the honor of joining this tribe.
There has been talk of a new litter of pups,
doughty someone of my backing would ever
be given the opportunity…
best to not get any hopes up.
Day 7 of Week 214
-The counsel meet today,
I am being awarded the youngest female
pup of the recent leader.
I am speechless.
A close friend from the tribe told me
this youngster would do me good.
I have no idea what that means,
but I am happy to find out.

~The Accent~
“There are many thing I hold dear, but my two most favourite memories are my mother and the day I met the funny kid with the strange accent.”
“Mom was always the warm ball of fur that fed us, the humans were like wiggly sweet tasting bald siblings.”
“When we were weaned we got to meet everyone in the tribe.”
“I loved them all!”
“Everyone was so much fun to run around with and play in the snow. Slowly I began to recognize and tell apart each of the squishy pink creatures that mom called the humans. About that time my siblings started to go to new homes to live with the humans.”
“I missed them but I got more attention than ever after they left. I so wanted to get a human of my own. That way we could play with all the other humans and wolves and stay up way late and eat everything without mom telling me not to.”
“That was when I meet Fey, he wasn’t as playful as the others. He smelled of cinnamon and sage and he had an accent. It makes my tail wage even to this day to hear him talk. I was so excited when they told me that he was my human. My very own human!”
‘I immediately set out to fix all his problems. First I made sure that all his socks were chewed, this was to allow for them to fit on his feet easier. Humans always seem to struggle to put on socks. Then I chewed a hole in his bed that way the soft feathers would be everywhere and make it look like it had snowed in the house.”
“The biggest things I changed was his interaction with other people. I started dragging him into groups and making him talk to others. The most important one was the girl he was always so nervous to talk around. I made sure to drag him to her whenever I saw her. He still acts strangely around her and tries to play tug of war with me instead of talking to her.”
“It’s like he is afraid of her. Silly Fey, she doesn’t bite, but I do!”

I noticed that this has not moved into a judging stage/winner announced. Since only a few people have finished the forms are you planning to extend the application period?
I only ask because while I am happy with my application I would love extra time to add some drawings that I have been unable to finish.
