Ideas? Well, try adding lots of humor and adventurous stuff. Those stuff grabs readers' attention. Also, you can try writing juicy, interesting words, since this is a writing forum, but don't put too much adult-like words, because there are kids younger than us browsing here as well, and they could get confused by all these challenging words.

As long as we're going into Dare-land... Quick! Write a forty-word (or more) personality of at least one of your characters! In full sentences, preferably, since it's gonna be hard to list forty traits. Also, physical abilities and (physical) skills aren't technically personality traits, though referencing them as a reason to a trait si fine. (ie, 'he hates water because he has fire elemental powers', 'training in martial arts has caused her to be very concentrated'.)

Apollo can be described as unconcentrated. The fact he has been raised on a farm shapes most of his personality - manipulative, lazy, and optimistic. How, you may ask, are any of these related to a farm? Simple. His parents are doing badly, and need to manipulate people into buying their products, thus meaning they teach him to be the same. Constantly doing work has caused him to appreciate and take advantage of any free time. Multiple times has he needed to create minor delusions for himself in order to not get stressed out of his wits.

Done! 96 words, actually, though not many actually describe his personality, just go into detail about thwm and how they sprouted.
