The limo ride seemed to take forever, as well as no time al all. He was thinking of the betrayed look his mother had given him when the guy now sitting across from him had been talking to her and Zekes dad. *At least my dad looked sorry to see me go. What are they going to tell Lila?!* he thought with panic as he thought of his 7 year old sister. He had pushed the thoughts out of his mind as they approached the looming gates. "So are these here to keep me in or others out?" he asked snarkily.
The man didnt answer. They just drove steadily on and Zeke started feeling sick with apprehension. They finally stopped and Zeke jumped out immediately, ready to run at the slightest hint of danger. But as soon as he was out of the vehicle, it drove off, leaving him stranded in front of a very austere building with no idea of what to do.
