I don't think so. They didn't give Nightstar his nine lives. Of course, it's possible he never even went to the Moonstone; it's been a long time since I read the first series, but I'm pretty sure he did go, and just wasn't granted his lives. Despite being the only not obviously evil leader ShadowClan has through the first arc.

He did, but his nine lives were not given because Brokenstar was still alive, and technically leader of Shadowclan. Though that makes you wonder, what about Pinestar? He was still alive, and the next cat got nine lives. Erin, you cheater!

Yes, that's right.
Well, Pinestar retired. I suppose that giving up his position counted, but Sunstar didn't get his ninth life because of that. The difference would be that Pinestar gave up the leadership, but Brokenstar did not.
It's still silly, though.

Anyway, about the nine lives thing, it never made much sense in the beginning. I believe Sir Villainous got his lives because he restored ShadowClan but it beats me to comprehend how, suddenly, more litters were born with Tiger around, and that is creepy at best. -cough cough-

Ohhhh my god, the Tigerclaw getting his nine-lives thing. Oh my god that is SUCH a button presser for me.

Like, okay, StarClan, you're the only ones who give cats the extra lives. You are clearly the good guys. Why didn't you just give Nightstar his lives, and then refuse Tigerstar his?

There's a lot I want to say about that, but it'll spoil later posts, so I won't go into it. I'll just say that StarClan is full of morons.

Hey, hey, guess what. I'm working on a fanfic again. I left it for a while but now I'm getting going. I am going to take all this stuff and avoid messing up. I'm going to try and write a sensible, mostly traditional Warriors tale.

And for those of you that love Arcaii, she made one of the bad guys. Uh-huh!

regarding the lives-giving thing, i never understood why starclan would give someone so blatantly evil nine lives.

Marking ^^ I love the idea behind Warrior Cats, but I agree that some things in the series are definitely debatable.
