Maddison heard Fabian whine and got to his side immediately, greeting Ali with a curt nod. "What's going on? Katy? Jade?" She then leant forward and whispered in his ear, "they don't know we're mates, right? Shall we break it to them?"

"That beta is crazy. She is insecure. She has just almost attacked the alpha" Fabian said. The black wolf worriedly paced more.
"I've seen her kill" I'm not scared but I don't want her to hurt any of you guys." He added.
"We'll tell her later" he said to Maddison.

Maddison nodded. She then called out to Katy.

Fabian put his ear back and leant back.
"Whatcha do that for?" He hissed. He hesitated.
"Sorry" he rubbed his fur against her.

She shot an angry look at Fabian, then took it back when he apologised. Maddy rubbed her nose against his. "It's ok," she pattered towards Katy, leaving Fabian, then tried to reach out for her. "Katy?"

Fabian sat down and watched Maddison. If anything happened he'd be over there in a flash. He laid down and rested his head on his paws.
