Juniperpaw blinked open her light blue eyes to see the apprentice den, empty and quiet. She yawned and stretched her legs, then padded outside. She noticed Jackalstar and dipped her head politely towards the leader. Juniperpaw didn't really want to start a conversation, so she simply padded away to a patch of flattened grass under a tree. She lay down in the small patch, enjoying the light rain falling onto her coat.

Ashfeather-
She padded out of the warriors den with new feathers in her fur and waited patiently for Jackalstar to call her so they could talk.

Spottedfire walked up to the apprentice, "Have you seen Jackelstar? I need to talk to her" she asked him.

Jackalstar stepped away from Shortpaw for now, now approaching Ashfeather. Her tail swayed back and forth. She didn't miss the respectful gesture from Juniperpaw and she twitched and ear in acknowledgement. "Why don't you come along just outside with me." She told her, not waiting for a reply before once more exiting the camp. She didn't need to go far -- just enough so that their discussion could be private.
Beneath a smaller stand of trees, she stopped, sitting herself and wrapping her long tail around her paws. The leafs provided some shelter from the rain, but not much... but it didn't bother the clan leader. She shook her head a bit, dislodging some of the water, sending droplets this way and that.

"It's an interesting little talent you have~" She ventured, once more twitching an ear. "You moved a leaf before... but are you capable of more? Such an ability may become an asset." She was curious, but also analyzing. She wanted to know the limits, and know Ashfeather's understanding of her own abilities. Even if the powers were subtle ones, it would do well to provide just that ; a subtle advantage not accessible by other cats. Any advantage was to be exploited to the best of any cat's abilities, and she would do well to make sure Ashfeather knew it too.

Ashfeather-
"The biggest think I moved so far is a couple of mice," she meowed looking at her leader respectfully, "maybe if I train my power it would grow stronger? But, I don't want it so get so strong it becomes a problem," she meowed worry in her voice.

Jackalstar chuckled a bit. "A couple of mice moved without lifting a paw is a couple mice more than the rest of us can do." Her ears tilted forward, listening to the rest of what she had to say before continuing. "As for training well... that's something that would have to be executed on your own time." She paused, thinking to herself an extra moment. "In fact, without an apprentice to train you should have enough of that. Why don't you take Spottedfire with you later tomorrow on a patrol along the west cliffs. All the scent markers have long gone stagnant... and you can allow yourself some time exercise those powers of yours."

She got to her paws, walking a slow circle around the other cat. "Can you show me more of what you can do? I'd be interested in seeing your limits for myself."

Ashfeather-
She nodded "Maybe I will be able to hold a rock?" She focused on five pebbles an equivalent to a small rock, her ears were pinned back in consitration, finally the rocks lifted and she had no struggle moving them around places.

Juniperpaw looked up at the spotted she-cat. "Oh, I believe she went out to the forest, just around there," She mewed, pointing her tail towards the direction Jackalstar had left with Ashfeather. "She went with Ashfeather as well." She added.

Rabbittail chuckled. As they approached camp, he crept inside the warriors den and lay down near his nest, trying to dry off. He fluffed out his fur and tucked his paws under him.

Shortpaw nodded vigorously and picked up the starling. She raced to the medicine den and deposited it in a dry place. She then raced to get the rest of the prey and move it as well. She quickly got the job done. She decided to run out of camp to the tree border to get some brambles for the camp, in order to impress Jackalstar further.

Firewinds didn't mine the rain so much. In fact, he liked the cool drop that fell on his bare patches. They felt soothing. He looked around, irritated to find that he could not see well in the dark rain, he couldn't smell in the dank air, and he couldn't hear over the pattering and thunder.
"Let's head back!" He called to his companion.

"Thank you, I'll just wait till she gets back" as she finnished, she padded over to the warrior den.at least it's nice and dry in hereshe thought. She stepped around Rabbittail and layed down in her own nest, Wrapping her tail over her nose.
