Tigerfang trotted out of camp, heading quietly.towards the Gathering place. He hope to meet Littlestep there. He missed her dearly, and almost felt like he had abondoned her, as they had barely had a glimpse of eachother since Sharpstar's rule came into play. Her familiar face would surface in his mind leaving his mind to wander away from what he had been doing originally during his duties at camp, and it was starting to show.

Scarletflower narrowed her eyes at him. "It surpried me, that's all! Besides, there are much more frieghtening things." The image of rushing water filtered into the she-cat's mind, making her shudder. "I think I can hunt it myself, Ashfire!" She flicked her tail to say he could do what he wanted as she searched for the mouse.

Littlestep lay in camp, her eyes flicked this way and that. She's wished to speak with Sparrowtail as the two friends seemed to have drifted the past few moons, but that would have to wait as of two reasons. The most important being she also was finally having time to speak with Leopardstar, while the second was it'd been a while since the small feline had spoken with Foxcloud. Her new friend had just seemedly disappeared. Getting up the grey combatnat stalked out of camp to see if she could find a scent of the lost clanmate.
Following what faint scent she could find, Littlestep had made it almost all the way to the gathering place before loosing the familiar smell. The smell she was looking for anyways, as the wind blew towards her another scent filled her nose, one she'd know anywhere and in any crowd. Looking around at her surroundings she confirmed she was alone before leaving the spot where she sat in a full spirint. Emerging from the brush she spotted a certain tabby striped pelt that made her heart race, "Tigerfang!" She exclaimed rushing over to him. Had she been any bigger the fae would have knocked him off his feet.


Ashfire smirked at the ginger cat as she disappeared, "Be my guest." He invited. Sitting he licked his paw and ran it over his ear a few times as he waited for any sign of the new combatant or the mouse.

The wind was blowing aqay fron Tigerfang, so he'd have to be on his best look out. The striped tom slid through a bush cautiously, only to have Littlestep rush right into him. He stumbled a step back, surprised, but immediatly stepped forward to cover her head with loving licks. A purr rose in his throat. He meowed, "Littlestep! Are you okay? I've missed you!"

Scarletflower crept through the bushes silently, following the mouse's scent trail. Soon, the plump gray mouse popped up from behind a root to nibble on a seed. The she-cat stalked forward slowly, each step light and soundless. But in an instant she pounced, and gave the mouse a swift bite that ended it's life. The ginger fae picked up her trophy after a silent thanks to StarClan and returned back to Ashfire.

Littlestep smiled up at his as his rouge tounge showered her head with licks as if a queen has just found her lost kit, "I can't believe you're hear." She purred at the same time he opened his mouth to speak. Listening to his own words the small fae nodded, "Yeah I'm fine. Well besides missing you so much." A constant purr still rising from within. "How about you? Has Sharpstar bothered you any? How is Ashfire?" The questions came out rapidly without a pause in between.


Ashfire had finally just laid down to enjoy the warming sun as he awaited for Scarletflower to return. Hearing a slight rustling in the bushes he assumed she'd been successful and was on her way back. Seeing the red pelt appear with a dandling grey body in her jaws, Ashfire rose from his current position to praise her; though she really didn't need it anymore, she was a combatant, "Congratulations. I thought it would've headed underground after it's encounter with the mighty beast." He told her with his normal sarcastic and playing twist in things.

Tigerfang grinned and murmured,"We're all fine. Sharpstar hasn't hurt me or Ashfire, but there has been a death." His tail flicked, and he meowed, "I've been meaning to talk to you."

"I think this mouse takes after you, with its mousebrain." She joked, tail curling at his praise. "Would you like to eat? I haven't eaten all day." The ginger female tilted her head questioningly, wondering if he'd accept her offer.

((sorry, this weekend is super busy for me and i don't know how much i'll be on. i'll try like always, though the posts i do make probably won't be as long, as they will be through mobile))

Littlestep purred at the news, though was quieted when Tigerfang mentioned the death. It wasn't her place and she dared not ask and open a closed wound. "All that matters it that you and my brother are well." The concern in her voice was thick as she focused her leafy green eyes up into his. With his comment of wanting to speak with her, Littlestep's ears flicked, "Of course, I'm all ears."


Ashfire flashed her a glare, that was for the most part playful. At the mention of eating, he wasn't really interested as the tom had gotten a chance to eat right after waking up this morning. "I'm fine, but please go ahead. You've earned it." He told her as he invited her the eat the newly caught prey.

Tigerfang flicked his tail, amber eyes only filled withlove as he spoke to Littlestep. "I know we're in different clans, and that makes things... Difficult." His ear flicked as he tried to gather his words. "And I love you. So so much. If I had to, I'd switch clans to be with you.And I'd like to start a family with you." His words were a statement, but also a question.

Scarletflower gave the tom a small smile. "Suit yourself." She sat down and ate, somewhat quickly, as to not keep Ashfire waiting. Scarletflower realized how hungry she was, so either way she did eat a bit faster than usual.
