Tallkit stood on her tiptoes to try and be as tall as Brackenfrost.

Bouncekit jumped up, trying to reach to Brackenfrost.

Brackenfrost laughed. "You won't be as tall as me for a while, kits."

Bouncekit shook her head, climbing on Brackenfrost's shoulders.

" me's tall!" Bouncekit squeaked.

Patchkit walked up to Whitestar. " Hey, whitestar! wanna play a game?" she chirped.

Whitestar turned, seeing Patchkit. He narrowed his single eye. "Why would I want that?"

Daisykit squinted at Whitestar. Something was different... his eye! His eye was red!

Tallkit climbed onto Brackenfrost's head. "I is taller!"

' Nuh-Uh!" Bouncekit protestd, climbing Brackenfrosts head aswell.

Foxpath was laughing.

Patchkit looked at him. " Fwiend? woo okay?" she asked.

Whitestar tried to shake his head, but it came out as a half-shake, half-nod. "I'm n- I'm fine!" he meowed, his eye going from green to red to green again.
