Hearing a splash, I swerve around a cluster of trees. Hoping to lose my pursuer, I leap and claw my way up a particularly thick oak.

Trying to make up ground Eagleclaw put on an extra burst of speed- only to find that he had unfortunately lost the she-cat's trail. He cursed under his breath, then parted his jaws to take in the scents of the forest- hopefully to find where she was hiding. Picking up a trace of her fear-scent, Eagleclaw followed, only to find that he had not arrived first. With another mutter and growl of disappointment, he headed off in the opposite direction, hoping to wait her out.

\Wind's head snapped to the side as she saw another cat. "Who are you?" She called sprinting to about 5 tail lengths away.

Tigger looked at Wind, cocking her head to the side, "what?"

Believing myself to be safe, I decide to stay in the tree for a little more, taking no chances. From this high up, I can see a pond. Water!

Quite startled, Eagleclaw took a step back and barred his teeth with his ears folded back- showing off large, pearly white incisors.

Tigger stood there, watching Eagleclaw. "Woah. Take it easy." She spat, staring at him, ready to bare her fangs.

Wind rested her tail on Tigger's shoulder as a warning. "I just want to talk." She said calmly but softly.

Tigger let out a hiss of annoyance. "Be careful, if I were you." She spat.

Eagleclaw swiped at them both before backpedaling a few steps, fur along his spine beginning to stand on end. "Leave" he hissed again, "before its too late".
