I pull out my pistol and step back a few steps. I aim it at her and ask, "Who are you?" The screams and moans of the infected are getting closer. I lower my gun and say, "Never mind. Question time later, let's go come on!" I motion toward the door I'd come through.

I pulled out my tomahawk and stood , not noticing that my ankle was messed up.I clenched my teeth a little bit as I put force on it, trying not to groan in agony. I wasn't going to show this girl, whoever she was, my weaknesses so easily, last time I did that I got trapped in a box and thrown into a dark building that was full of infected people. But with my current injury, all I could do was slide past her and make my way out of there. Rays of sunlight hit my face as I took a quick look around and as I looked to my left I saw it. No more than ten feet away stood an infected person, and judging by its muscular body form I could tell it was a male, a clicker at that. He made clicking noises, turning around to let me see his face, which I almost screamed at. It was covered in fungus. His eyes, his brain, his cheeks, and his nose were covered in it. The only thing I could see was his lips as he made more clicking noises. My eyes widened as I quickly limped behind a car, trying to be as quiet as I could .

"Oh, sh - " I shut my mouth and followed the girl behind the car. I notice she's limping, and figure I'll help her when we're away from the Infected. I look around our feet for something to make a distraction with. The throaty clicking gets closer. A broken bottle is sitting a foot or two away from us. I glance over the hood of the car to make sure the Clicker is still a distance away before I dart for the bottle. I grab it and toss it in the opposite direction from where we should go. I wave at the girl to follow me between two buildings.
