Faeron glanced at legolas and followed after him salima stayed where she was with Daeron sleeping on her back he looked around before walking off after legolas and quickly moving to stop the elven prince but tauriel got there first several of his saber-cats came out of now where and simply blocked legolas' path and surrounded him. the marchwarden was determined to make the young prince stay.

Legolas pulled out his two butterfly knives and twirled them in his hands. He turned to Feron and said stubbornly "Make them move, or I will." He then turned to Tauriel and said "My father has someone to help him now." He growled a bit, looking at Saelweth. "I am not needed here anymore."

"Are you kidding me your father cares about you and to be honest my lady has known him since before you where born if you wish to know the full story then I will tell whether you want to hear it or not Young prince. The two of them met long before you where born and they had relationship long before you even existed but do you know what happened to that relationship it died their parents separated them and killed it why because of some petty argument between oropher and lady saelweth's father had things been different they could have been together at one point. But you think just because your father cares about her that that means that your not wanted Even young Helrenthrad knows better then that and he's 6 years old. a six year is acting more competent then you are right now. We cannot have another elf disappearing today after what he's been through I would say he could not survive losing you" Faeron said and added "do not challenge my authority and I will not move these saber-cats so you can either attempt to fight me and get yourself knocked unconscious or you sit down and stay instead of walking off and leaving" Faeron said

"I honestly don't care. Just let me live my life how I want it. Please. I am leaving, I am sorry, but I must." Legolas sighed. He pulled out his bow and added, "I am not afraid to use it, thank you very much." He let one arrow whizz by the other elfs ear, to try to scare him. He shook his head and prepared to kill the animals blocking his way.

Elrond looked up in surprise as Kili appeared next to him, obviously not expecting a dwarf surrounded by elves. "It appears that the orcs weren't exactly kind to them," he said with a frown, noticing Legolas' reaction to Thranduil and Saelweth comforting each other. The elf sighed heavily, shaking his head before turning his attention to Celeborn, who called out his name. "Do not fret Celeborn. I have some with me," since he was close enough to the other he simply tossed the item to Celeborn. Even if Celeborn didn't catch it, the container wouldn't break.

(If a group of dwarves happened to be nearby they'd die of heart attacks because all the elf lords are in one spot XD

Thranduil had automatically turned his attention to Legolas when he was suddenly hugged by him. He was about to hug him back when his son suddenly pulled away, much to his confusion. The sick elf had no idea what was going on anymore, everything seemed to be happening too fast and he had no idea how to react to any of it. "Legolas...?" His voice was hoarse and scratchy from surviving without water for so long. Thranduil obviously wanted his son to stay. He wouldn't know what to do if his son just...left. It'd almost be like losing his wife all over again, except he wouldn't know if Legolas was alive or not.

Faeron let out slight growl and instead of just faltering when legolas fired an arrow at him threw a kick at young in attempt to sweep him off his feet if legolas really wanted to kill his saber-cats he'd have to go through him first "You asking for trouble by threatening to use your bow and i'd advise you don't even make the attempt to again" he said he knew his saber-cats where safe after all they where trained to dodge attack and if legolas provoked them he would likely get attacked.

Saelweth was confused by legolas' reaction as well she had not expected the young prince to think so rashly but she could tell thranduil did not want him to leave and she supossed that her marchwarden would likely stop the young prince at least that is what she hoped she felt quite bad at the moment but she felt she did not have the strength to move too much though she did let go of thranduil to grab the flask of miruvor with her good hand that was nestled in the grass and put it in Thranduil's hand he needed it more then she did at the moment.

Elion wasn't exactly aware of who was around him for moment as he was having trouble maintaining consciousness for the moment he wished that he wasn't so frail at this point mostly because he'd have been able to speak if he was strong enough but it was obvious he had been strong enough to make it here alive despite his frail condition.

((and meanwhile faeron is now locked into battle with legolas once again the snow elves and mirkwood elves are fighting but for a different reason then one would expect))

"I am not afraid of you or your saber-cats. I am the prince of the Woodland realm, and I have been trained heavily in the skills of combat. I would suggest you let me go, unless you want to get hurt." he growled. He looked at his father and his tone changed to a somewhat sad, longing tome. "How could you do this? You know I am still tender about mom, and here you are, cuddling with this thing! I came to save you, and it turns out, you don't need or want me. For goddess sake, you have already replaced me with her son!" he said sadly. It wasn't an angry tone, just a sad and frustrated one. He stuck his knife into one of the beasts, killing it quickly. "Try me." he said, turning back to the Marchwarden.

The king's gaze hardened slightly at the accusations thrown at him, and weakly put the flask back in Saelweth's hand. He could wait a little bit longer, Legolas needed to understand. "Legolas...do you not realize what we have just gone through?" He rasped, "you cannot control who your heart becomes attached to, or whether they are considered friends or family. We did not know where we were, and still don't. We only had each other for comfort until the orcs had me by myself because I am ill. We've been here for days or maybe even weeks without food and very little water."

"I love you with all my heart Legolas. You are my son, and always will be. It is hard for elves to have children, so the day you were born my life changed forever. I understand that you are still tender about your mother's death, but you need to know the truth. When she died by dragonfire...it vaporized both her body and soul. Our attachment broke, like it never existed...like she never existed...I almost faded because of it." Thranduil paused for a moment to catch his breath, before continuing just a little bit longer with one last question.

"What happened to the curious and outgoing elfling I raised?" He had to stop talking at that point, for his throat felt like it were on fire. Thranduil wheezed painfully as tears streamed down his face once again.

Legolas' throat closed up as he replied "Well I am sorry then. About mom and whatever you went through. Don't think I have never hurt like you have. You may not have felt anything when mom died, but I did. I assure you it was worse than any pain you are goin through now." He walked over to him, as close as he could get without the saber-cats tearing him to shreds. He then said firmly "I grew up dad, I grew up." He immediately sliced several saber-cats with his blades. He walked sadly and sullenly away from the scene, leaving everything he knew behind. "I don't belong here anymore." he said to himself. Tears began to flow down his cheeks as he looked back once more.
