Loki nodded "alright, then meet me by the peer" she told Alex as the bell rang. Loki walked out with a yawn and headed to her locker.

Devon walked out and accidentally bumped into Alex "he watch it" he teased her with a smirk "see ya tomorrow" he told her with a wave as he walked down the main hall.

Alex nods to Loki and smiles to Devon. "See you tomorrow Devon" she says as she goes to exit the school. Nut followed behind the girl closely; it was just how she was.

Loki lingered at her locker for a little talking to a few people before she started heading home. Ezra strutted very close to Loki's side, making sure they didn't stray to far apart.

Devon got in his truck and Moosh crawled up on the dashboard, he didn't want to go home straight away so he started driving up to the peer, it looked over most of the island.

Alex quickly heads home to grab a few things. Nut quickly followed behind. Alex was really excited to be back near the beach again.

Once home Loki drops her bag off and locks up the house, seeing that her parents where not home. She took Ezra's form and darted towards the beach.

When Devon made it up to the peer he parked and locked up his car. There was a little bit of a walk so he started on his way. The tree's where full of life and Moosh happily darted around.

Alex dropped her school bag at home and grabbed a small blanket that she would use to sit on. Once she grabbed everything she ran out the door yelling to her mom that she would be back soon. Once out the door she raced to the beach; more or less the peer however.

(clarifying- Loki is at the beach peer- Devon is at the Island peer)

Loki could smell the salt water, cats noses are a lot better then humans after all. Once at the sandy peer Loki put her front paws up on the railing then realize she was still in Ezra's body. Loki then jumped out and Ezra shook like a dog. Loki looked out at the turquoise water with a big smile, it was a little windy so it felt nice.
(clarifying^ They can 'morph' into their animal- that's one thing I changed from the book)

Alex had 'morphed' into Nut, holding the blanket in her mouth; cat mouth. She saw the beach peer coming up her eyes shined with excitement as she arrived at the peer. She hopped out of Nut's body and grabbed the blanket from Nut. "Loki!" She called out as she goes over to the girl.

Loki jumped lightly and turned around seeing Nut and Alex "hey" she smiled at her. She then started to walk down to the beach with towel in hand and motioned for Alex to follow "lets go find a place to sit on the sand" she said. Sense it was a school day the beach only had 2-3 people on it and the dock wasn't to far away with all the fishing boats.

Alex nods "Yeah, I'm glad we decided to go today, it's beautiful out!" She says happily as she heads onto the Sandy ground. Nut follows carefully behind Alex.
