CHAPTER 8: THE SORTING
Or, There is something wrong with our Music Teacher

Today is the first day with our new schedule.
But first, all 5th level popular's had to group the new students. Suru of course choose's the group they are in, but the rest of us comment and see if we all agree on it, except Rose, becuase she only wants to send people to Dorks.

Suru: Ok first person!

Very cool but creepy person came up first:


Suru: Name and Interests-
Rose: OMG, GORIGHTNOWTO-
Suru: ROSE,I KEEP TELLING YOU ONLY I SORT!!
Rose: Sorry bae-bae ;-;

Those tears are SOOOO fake -_-

???: My name is Lockette, and I don't know why people are scared of me....that's all
Suru: O.o
Rose: O.o
Me: O.o
Everyone: O.o
Suru: Um, Emo....next!

Suru: Name and Interests?
???: The name's Monica! I love to hang out with friends and have fun! People say I am sociable and very friendly!
Suru: Cool, but not very good fashion sense, Rebels

Ok so, Popular Hangout's and magic classes were cancelled due to supply loss (Popular Hangout's has supplies?), so it was a double Math period and a double World Studies to make it up. OMG MATH IS SOOOOOOO BORING ;-;
World Studies is also boring -.-
EVEN ENGLISH IS BORING!!
Well, at least there is no homework C:
Then, we had Music.
And here is our music teacher:

Looks familiar right?
Ya, we saw her at the big meeting!!
She is black pen by the way, since she is a teacher
But a really weird teacher....

Ms. Flower: Hello class! I am Ms. Flower! But the popular's can call me Lilac!
Me: *Raises hand*
Ms. Flower: Lilac: Yes?
Me: My name is also Lilac!
Lilac(This is awkward...): Are you a popular?
Me: Ya... 5th level, why...
Lilac: You sit in that sit NOW!

It was not a seat, it was a throne! I sat there awkwardly as Lilac taught the lesson. Rose looked at me with a scowl. Then, I noticed something...

Monica: *Raises hand*
Lilac: What group are you in?
Monica: Erm, rebels?
Lilac: Ok, you can ask me questions
Monica: Um ok....

Lilac: Who nows where viola goes in the instrument chart.... YOU RIGHT THERE! *points right at Lockette*
Lockette: I don't know....
Lilac: What I expect from a Emo....what about you Rose?
Rose: It's like, strings, like, right?
Lilac: Yes! Correct! Just what a Popular would do? Espacially a high level one!

Does Lilac favor only populars and high levels? I am not sure.
Anyway, tommorow I have to go to the mission, so I have to get ready

It is the time Vanilla Coffee...
It's the time....
It's the time to go to the Elementals!
So, Suru told me to bring the picture of the Griffon and act like a normal student.
Well seems fair enough.
So I got my backpack and stuffed my picture in there followed by some books to look like a normal student.
I went to the Elementals in a jazzy car, so I could be a popular.
Come on! Can't I be at least in the Outcasts!
Then I remembered the sorting in this school is different then GSFP so Outcast's is the lowest level.
Whoops!
So I went in the school, and then this wolf was there:



She's pretty! I think she was there to sort the new students, so I went up to here

??: Hi
Me: Hello, I'm Lilac *blushes* I know, weird name

I don't know why I was so shy, stress of new school?

???: *Shrugs* Better then having a absurd name like Leah Snowflake

Actually, Leah Snowflake is a pretty name! I wish I had a last name...

Me: Wanna be friends?
Leah: Sure! You'll come with us, the Populars

Well, I guess I am still a popular aren't I? Then, this wolf came up to us. She also looked like a popular:


I suddenly got this weird vibe that is the same vibe when I get too close to Rose.

???: Seriously, Leah? You're bringing her to our side? No way. She should be with, like, the lowest of the lows. Level 1 Outcast

Now I know why I got that vibe....

Leah: Shut up Makayla, you told me to sort the students today, so I can put them wherever I want.
Makayla: UGH! Fine! *Storms away in the same way Rose does*
Me: Well....

That was all I can say. The way she acts like Rose is creeping me out. O.o

Leah: Don't listen to her, she's craaazy
Me: Let's go to the bathroom

Ugh! That sounded way to weird! I should have said something more casual!

Leah; Why? It's dangerous. There's a lion living there.
Me: Yeah, that's why we need to go there!
Leah: Fine.

So she lead me to the 3rd floor where the bathroom was. I saw a few pet's whispering as we got in the bathroom

Leah: Okay, here's the third floor bathroom
Me: It's very dark

I think this is what Suru meant when Griffons like "dark places".

Leah: The lion seems to like darkness
Me: Actually... it's a Griffon

Is it ok to explain my powers and mission to a random person? Suru says as long as that person is a trustworthy person and knows magic. I guess Leah is trustworthy and she looks like she uses magic, so why not tell her?

Leah: Okay... WAIT WHAT?! A GRIFFON?! Show me a pic!

So I took out the (crumbled?) picture of the griffon. I gave it to Leah

Leah: WHOA SO GRIFFONS DO EXIST
Me: Yup. And guess what?
Leah: What?
Me:I'm a talamacina wolf. I can tame magical animals.
Leah: A tapamakasia what?! What type of animals?
Me: Talamacina. I can tame... let's see... Unicorns, Pegasus, Alicorns, Manitore, Greek God Pets... and Griffons.
Leah: Kay... So you're here to tame that blue Griffon.
Me:Yup. It's sorta my, uh, mission, to do that. Suru told me it's for practising my powers.
Leah: Who's Suru?
Me: A popular cat at my original school.

She nodded. We slowly opened the door and saw what looked like to be a dark cave in the bathroom. Some snoring was heard which sounded like a tiny Griffon roar (Suru sent me a video link of how they sound like). Leah grabbed her phone and put it on flashlight mode.

Leah: That's better
Griffon: *Snore*
Me: Did you hear which stall is it from?
Leah: The third one?

I crept over to the third stall and very oh so slowly turned the doorknob. Griffons can attack if you wake them up from there nap. I was really scared but continued on. The snoring got louder, so I know for sure it's in there.
When I opened the door, the Griffon roared it's eagle and lion like roar. Did the school just shake? A blinding cyan light came at my face and a sound of large wings flapping.
I kept my eyes open, but Leah's were closed. When she finally opened them, she blinked alot and was staring at me. She probaly noticed I was in a tight ball. I hope she didn't here my "I need you mommie!", under my breath. The stall was empty and the window was open.

"It left.", was all I can say.
"Darn darn darn darn darn darn DARN!", Leah replied. She started to kick alot of things
Me: o.o
Leah: Sorry about that. I kick things when I'm furious.
Me: o.e
Leah: I think the Griffon went through the window.
Me: Yeah. We have to catch them before it leaves the school!

While still trying to forget about Leah's tantrum, I tried to find an idea to follow the Griffon. Stairs would take to long, so what else...

Leah: Jump.
Me: ?

What did she mean by jump....

Leah: Let's go. Jump through the window.
Me: I don't have wings...

I noticed Leah had wings, so it must be easier for her to jump out of a window. But I have no wings, unless Talamacina's secertly can fly.

Leah: Hold on to me.

I went on her and we jumped through the window. It was wide enough for both of us to jump through. I was holding on hard. This was the first time I fell so high and the first time flying. Little dogs screamed and ran in all directions when they saw us. I noticed Leah was having a pretty hard time flying. Guess she isn't strong enough to hold two pet's?
We crashed down and tumbled across the grass. Leah grumbled for a while. She then stood up and found me next to her. I felt like there was no air around me. IS THERE AIR HERE!?

Me :*Gasp* I need air!
Leah: There is air around us.
Me: Oh. *Breathes* I'm fine now.
Leah: Good. But... Where did the Griffon go?

I turned around and I suddenly felt a jolt threw my body.

Me: Behind us
Leah: Um, there is something wrong with your...
Me: THE GIRFFON IS RIGHT BEHIND US

We both turned, and I was right. In front of us was the griffon, and he looked terrifying.

Me: I think this is what happens when you anger a Griffon....
Leah: Is he going to kill us?

I shook my head. I suddenly felt like I know what I am doing. I felt my fur jolt, as I got closer to the Griffon. The Griffon stood still, a little suprised. Then it suddenly dropped and heard what sounded like....

Purring?
I started to pet it's head, and then it purred louder.

Me: I think I tamed it!
Leah: Really! Aww, it's so cute when it's not trying to kill you.

I continued to pet it, and it purred louder. It stood up and looked at me.

Me: Wonder what should I name it....
Leah: Your fur glowed...
Me: What?
Leah: When you got close to the Griffon, you fur glowed. Your eye's also glowed when you found out the Griffon was behind us.
Me: Weird...
Leah: So, what are you gonna name it?
Me: Well, I kinda want to name it after you, or something you like. Since, you know, you helped me and what not.
Leah: How about Blueberry? It looks like one, and it's something I sorta like....
Me: Blueberry....cute name! So, how are we going to get out of here?

I knew I couldn't let Leah hold me AND the Griffon. The griffon suddenly answered my question. It made a postion what looked like it wanted us to get on it. Leah and I went on the Griffon, and it made a huge roar as it took us back to the school. We got off the Griffon and I continued petting it. I looked at Leah.

Me: Thanks for everything
Leah: No problem, so this is basically your only day here?
Me: Yup! But I guess I have to stay here for a week until the Griffon get's used to me.

So I put the Griffon in the janitors office (it was Leah's idea) and the rest of the day was basically a average school day. I found out Leah had her own journal thing, and we traded our journal things. She took you Vanilla Coffee, and I read her Blueberry. Her Blueberry is longer then you because she had it longer.

I guess this is all that happened. Welp, I will write in you when I can Vanilla Coffee! Bye!
