Elrond was about to order his men to fall back, when he realized almost all of the orcs had been slain except for two, who were most likely the leaders. Maybe they could try to get some information out of them. He made a hand motion to Celeborn, pointing at the orcs now held captive by his warriors.

Húlden got onto Esaw, feeling much better now, though she knew mobility in her side would never be the same again. She started to trot to regain her confidence on horseback, but quickly broke into a gallop. She had to help the others find the 3 missing elves. (Time skip time!)

Húlden rode to where she presumed they would be and called out "Lord Elrond? King Thranduil? Lady Saelwyth?"

"shouldn't we go by my camp site first and retrieve the rest of my dogs i mean wolves" Galaenon said following after his brother with king the largest wolf he had trailing after him and wagging it's tail. Galaenon's horse seemed to wallk out of the stables and start following aragorn it seemes like the black arabian was one of mearas and it wanted something from the ranger specifically whatever was in his pocket which was likely some bit of food that she was nosing at. "i think my horses likes you or wnats whatever you got in your pocket" Galaenon said chuckling at the large animal but it plainly obvious she was a mearas perhaps some one had sent her to them for specific purpose of sending message to both of them either way they now a had a horse they just needed one for aragorn now.

Celeborn heard two arrows whiz behind him, then shot Galadriel a grateful look when he found that she was covering him. He saw the Orc captives that were now being held, and gave Elrond a nod of consensus. The silver-haired Elf gently laid Thranduil down, propping him against a nearby tree. "I will be back," he promised Saelweth and his grandson. "I have something important to attend to - rest now." he straightened up, then strode over to where Elrond and the Orc leaders were. "Haldir," he called to the marchwarden, then gestured to Saelweth and the others. "Would you help tend to our wounded?" he turned back to the Orcs, the slightest hint of disgust crossing his face. He pulled out his sword once more and held it at his side, where it glinted menacingly. "The rules are simple. You answer our questions, and we spare your lives."

Elrond stood nearby incase anything happened, though it was mostly to intimidate the orcs into talking. His attention briefly switched over to Hulden, "please go help Haldir with the wounded."

(Anyone can be the orcs so if you have a good idea, go for it :3)

Thranduil slowly regained consciousness, blinking a few times as his vision slowly refocused. He tried to slow down his breathing, but ended up going into a coughing fit instead.

Saelweth sighed sitting next to Thranduil she was exhausted but she found it impossible to rest with a broken hand and worry about Thranduil whom she cared about greatly she put her good hand on his shoulder just to let him know she was there truth be told though she was calmer then she had been before with him conscious and with her she felt at ease again it was strange to think that even with state he was in right now she still found his presence comforting.

Helrenthrad seemed to manage to wedge himself in between Thranduil and Saelweth he seemed to be clinging to the elven king's arm the kid had grown rather attached to him and seemed like he felt most comfortable around him even the elven king was currently having coughing fit.

Galadriel leaves the tree with her bow and arrows and unties her horse from the tree. She leads her horse over to Thranduil and leaves Winter, the horse, there before going to check on the injured horse that Celeborn rode into battle.

Thranduil winced as Helrenthrad clung to his arm, but didn't push him away. He seemed to hesitate before using his other arm to pull Saelweth into a slightly awkward hug. All three of them needed comfort. Especially with what they had just gone through together.

Saelweth simply just hugged him back trying her best not get in helrenthrad's way the kid was mostly in way of the two of them but she couldn't blame him he was after all very attached to thranduil. but it seemed like the elven king had known saelweth needed to be comforted it was not easy for her to have lasted through that for as long as she and she knew she wouldn't have been able to without him in the first place. She found herself crying for some reason she rarely showed her emotions so this was indeed a rare moment for her she generally kept her emotions under wraps.

((i just know that when celeborn gets back from interrogating the orcs he'll be a little bit surprised by this little scene XD))

Celeborn narrowed his eyes at the Orcs when the only responses they gave were hideous snarls. It wasn't hard at all for the Eldar to keep a cool demeanor. He merely raised a brow, slightly amused at their defiance, and started to pace around them patiently. "You kidnapped the Elvenking and two Snow Elves. Why?"
"Why not?" one of them spat.
Celeborn sighed, then cut the Orc's head clean off.
He turned to the only one remaining. "I ask you again: why?"
The leader hesitated for a few minutes, before spitting out a venomous yet rather informative response. "We were trying to discover where the Snow Elves' safe-haven is...you should've seen them squirm when we interrogated them," he added provocatively, baring his teeth in a spiteful smirk.
Celeborn inhaled, admirably calm. He would most likely end up killing this one, too, though. "And, pray tell, why must you know about the safe-haven's location?"
"Because when he arrives, he wants to be able to burn it to the ground," the Orc sneered. "He wants to see your misery and despair, and he will have it."
Celeborn shot Elrond a glance of concern, as if to ask him, Are you thinking what I'm thinking?
