Agnes's shoulders drooped a bit. She had so been looking forward to seeing Erebor in all its splendor. All she'd gotten to see was a couple of Dwarves turning her down. They seemed to have their reasons, but that didn't do much to lift her spirits. "Well," she sighed, plopping herself on top of a large rock and supporting her chin with her fists. "I came all the way up here, so...maybe we could sit and talk?" she blinked a little innocently. "I'm not interrupting anything important, am I?"
The older Dwarf made an uncertain expression, then glanced at the younger one. "Well..."

Celeborn nodded when he saw that the wolf was helping Saelweth...then he glimpsed the look of concern on his daughter in-law's face; she seemed genuinely concerned for Thranduil. He cocked his head, deciding that perhaps he would approach her about that later. "The Elvenking is strong. He will not fall," he reassured her, starting to make his way out and depending heavily on the other Elves to cover him while he supported Thranduil. "Elrond!" he called, not certain whether or not the Lord of Rivendell would be able to hear him over the chaos. "Fall back!"

Tauriel was happy to see the young Dwarf so chipper. She gave a little nod of agreement when Kili suggested they stop here for the night, even though a part of her wanted to keep searching. It had been hours, and still they had not been able to track down the Elvenking. Who knows what horrible things could've happened by now? The She-Elf leaned against a tree and crossed her arms restlessly. "I'll take first watch," she offered, steeling her voice so that no one would object.

Bilbo let himself drop to the ground as soon as he was permitted to do so. He was, of course, quite used to walking long distances by now, but he would never to object to a little rest. He knew the matter was urgent, but they were all exhausted, and still they had hardly found any signs of the Elvenking.
