Galadriel follows Celeborn and starts to see the plume of smoke in the distance. She sees the poor cages and the elves held in them and turns to Celeborn, saying is a quiet voice, "It's them but they don't look in that good of shape."

They must be in great pain." there was a metallic ringing as the Lord of Lothlorien drew a gleaming Elven blade from its sheath. It shimmered a light blue color that affirmed the close proximity of Orcs. "Prepare yourselves for battle."

Elrond nodded silently, before giving orders to his own people. "Mallen pelu e' n'alaquel en' sen! (Circle around behind them!)" They obeyed orders, circling around the camp at the very back...and waited for the signal.

Thranduil still had not moved. He didn't know when the orcs would come back or what they would do, and he wished they would stay away so he wouldn't have to find out. So far he hadn't been bothered.

(*accidentally started a riot oops* I was thinking of claiming another canon elf character from Rivendell, which is Lindir [I think that's his name]. IDK why I just really like him. He has that air of innocence around him and he looks terrified 24/7 XDDD

Saelweth quickly became more alert and when she thought she heard a Celeborn's voice she hoped that thranduil was alright though they were seperated at the moment she was glad help had come and relaxed bit she tried to move using her broken hand and let out a slight yell she had forgotten that her hand had been broken and quickly pulled her arm closer to her.

Galadriel nods and pulls out her bow and arrows. She looks around and spots a tree. She turns her horse to the tree after saying, "I will be in that tree and shoot at any orcs that try to escape or sneak up on you" She urges her horse to the tree and loosely ties the reins to a low branch behind the tree. Galadriel climbs the tree and settles on a branch getting her bow and arrows ready.

Haldir stepped forward, respectfully bowing his head to Elrond, though not kneeling. Speaking with the same level of respect, he quietly asked all those present, "If I may, I would like to join your army for this battle; I feel I can be of more help there."

"Of course," Elrond waved him over, trying to be friendly with the elf. He knew that Haldir disliked Celeborn greatly but the two seriously needed to get over trying to fight for Galadriel. It was like two bucks battling for a doe.

Bowing once again, to Galadriel and Celeborn this time, (because you never get bored of bowing), Haldir hurried off to join the large army of Rivendell Elves, feeling more relaxed amoungst the less lord-ly elves.

Celeborn nodded to Galadriel in acknowledgement. It was a sound strategy. "Ndengina sen! (Kill them!)" he shouted, signaling for the Elves to close in on the camp now. He raised his sword and charged into battle, intent on severing Orc heads. He was on horseback, so it was easier for him to trample his foes or confuse them with his figure-eight maneuvers...until his mount was shot in the leg, of course. The great stallion let out a pained whinny and collapsed mid-gallop. Celeborn tumbled off the steed, rolling on the dirt for a few seconds before getting to his feet. He clenched his teeth, naturally concerned for his trusted horse, but even more concerned for the success of their mission. He sliced through another Orc and finally got a better look at the cages and their contents. They indeed contained Lord Thranduil...and Saelweth. And his grandson.

"Celeborn!" Saelweth said she couldn't think of anything but to call his name she was glad to have her father in law fighting to rescue her she just wished he could free right at that moment she wanted to check on thranduil and she had broken hand and she was absolutely terrified at the moment.
