"Well then, I'm right behind you." She said, the thought of getting some answers eased her mind.
"So, who is this person we're meeting anyway?" She asked curiously as she followed along behind him.

Gabumon stayed quietly behind the group, he wanted to search around for his partner, but he'd done that all day and had no luck so he decided that maybe staying with the group will help him find his partner.

She stopped up in her tracks looking back towards Gabumon, she looked between all of the Digidestined and their partners and back to him.
She felt bad for him, after all, all the other Digimon had found their partners by now and she knew he must have felt rather lonely.
"Come on Gabumon!" She smiled, offering one of her hands. "Maybe we'll find your partner on the way there!" She said, trying to lighten the mood a bit.

He smiled, walking towards her offered hand, grabbing it, Yeah, maybe, thank you! He said squinting his eyes in joy.

Sun walked along with the group, hand behind his head in a relaxed manner as he whistled a tune he remembered hearing when he was younger. It had been....a pet he'd once had that had whistled the tune, right? Honestly, he never could remember everything. All he remembered was that the pet(?) had been orange, kinda like Coronamon but definitely different in appearance. Still, he couldn't quite help but dwell on what Carly had said. He looked cute? He wasn't trying to go for cute. He wanted to look cool. Dismissing those thoughts from his head for that very reason, Sun couldn't help but overhear what that other girl(he couldn't quite remember her name, but he believed it started with an A) said to the partner-less(at the moment) digimon that walked amongst them. "Really, that's all you can say? Maybe he'll find his partner? There's no maybe about it. Gabumon, you'll definitely find your partner. Just remember to always look on the bright side of life."

"Don't mention it." She smiled cheerfully. "After all, what are friends for!"
She began walking along behind Cyrus once again. "I'll help you find your partner even if it takes some time, I promise."
She looked at Sun a slightly unamused look crossing her face, but she quickly shook it off ignoring the comment he made.
After all, they were stuck here whether they liked it or not so what was the point in fighting.

"We're going to see Merukimon," Cyrus said. "I've never seen him before, but the others talk about him like he's some kind of king."

"He's the strongest Digimon there is!" Patamon chimed in from atop Amurah's head. "He'll definitely know what we're supposed to do!" He then lowered his gaze, slightly crestfallen. "But he's so far away. The Infinite Ice Ridge is miles from here."

"Hmm... well then theres really no time to waste if that's the case.. huh?"
She said, looking forward as she walked along. "We've got a lot of walking to do.."

Gabumon gave a wide smile, filled with joy that the other digi-destined were helping him.You're right! Of course I won't give up now, I know my partner will show up even if they're going to be late. After saying that, his hopes were brought up and he walked at a faster pace, next to Amu, still smiling wide.

"That's the spirit!" She said cheerfully, matching his smile and gazing around at their surroundings as they followed Cyrus's lead.
This place was actually slowly starting to grow on her, after all, she'd much rather be here doing good then at home with her usual hobbies.
"I wonder what their like?" She said, sparking up conversation. "Your partner, that is."
