I make a platform of bedding in their cadge then surround it with a bendy fiddle sticks bridge to make their food dish higher up bit they still manage to kick bedding into it. Any advise ?
I have my gerbils' food bowl on the top level of their cage so they don't do that.
And definitely switch to a water bottle. Rodents tend to be incapable of keeping water bowls clean lol.
They use a food bowl that was what. I was talking about. Also I don't have a cadge with a barred top because they bar chew.
Can you move the water bottle higher?

Actually, it'd be a tortoiseshell and white or TSW.TSW are black/red/white, if it's chocolate/red/white, cream/black/white, then we call it just that. Calico isn't a color with guinea pigs.

Haha yep! When I started too breed guinea pigs, I was taught so much about the actual names of colors and the genetics that give us those colors. Thank god the breeders that taught me were patient. I was no easy teach

A
good TSW has clearly defined patches, but most TSW you will see at petstores have their colors brindled together (ex. Red streaked in a black patch) and thats what makes them look calico, so it's an easy mistake. Just like when people call creams blondes. Ugh..... Gotta love it

I need to read up on colors of other rodents! I am pretty on point with rats and know the gist of gerbils and mice.
