Thanks. :3 They are fun to photograph. lol
@FuzzyThePunkCat
Dumbo <3 That sounds really cute! I love odd eyed animals. One of my mini aussies is a blue merle with split face markings and he has a blue eye and brown eye. Also had an odd eyed deaf white cat. lol It's a little different with rats, but still cool.

@spiderfish
Riiiiiight. lol She's freakin' adorable.
@CaptainMarvel
Cleo is barebacked too. Then right around the base of her tail is colored. lol Like a bullseye. xD
Jude on the other hand is hooded with bad markings I guess. The stripe down her back is broken up. Mismarked hoodeds are pretty common I think.

I'd just call that mismakred bareback

Isaac's markings are so hard to label, and every breeder who I show him to calls him something different "Oh that's a mismarked variegated," "wow, what a handsome little dalmatian!" "I love your mismarked possum !" so I have no idea what he actually is called, besides Russian blue and gorgeous, haha. And then Styles is a mismarked dark eyed white- tiny spot of russian blue just behind one ear. Sasha is my only straightforwards baby, he's a blue berkshire. Rats markings and colors are cool because they're all so varied!
I personally want to breed Russian blue self rats someday, I just love that color!

And baby guinea pigs are too adorable, haha. I'm still perplexed every time I see a newborn and it's already fluffy! Actually I have a question for guinea pig owners/breeders!
When a "skinny pig" is born, do they have fur and then lose it over time, or are they born hairless?
@spiderfish, ah, now I'm dying of curiosity!

Yes and no.
There's a couple of different types of hairless pigs.
Baldwins, are born hairy, but all their fur fall out (not sure exactly at what age, off the top of my head), and end up completely hairless, No feet/nose fuzz like skinnies have.
And then skinnies are born hairless, except for the nose/feet fuzz, which they have for like.
And then there's werewolf skinnies, which are just overhaired skinnies, so same with them.

Question for rat owners or anyone
Do you do anything for their birthdays? My boys will be 1 on the 27th of February, just 13 days after mine, and I wanted to give them maybe carrot cake? Of course they'll have 'presents' but I wasn't sure if they could eat carrot cake etc.
We do that for the dogs and I wanted to repeat it with the rat.

Yes! My animals all get a cake and presents for their birthdays.
For Treble's birthday, we got him an actual full sized cake haha! I will post pics when I get home. He was my first rat to have a birthday with me.

Thank you very much!
So, you got piggies too?
Haha yes I do. I had 8 but woke up this morning and had 10. I don't understand what happened!

My gold sow had a light gold boar (looks cream, but isn't genetically possible) and a nice red sow.

Oh alright, must be mismarked bareback then. Either way, it's friggin adorable lol.
I gave all four of them one sugar cube to munch on... Just a little sugar cube... They went nuts lol. (They didn't eat it all... Once they all had their fair share i took it away. A whole sugar cube is still a lot for little babies!)
