The large dragon legendary that Isaac rode atop of was not at all uneased by the area as it landed in front of the run-down fortress-like castle. He hopped off of his legendary partner's back, patting it gently on the head in thanks before he looked at the door, which was open now. He saw footprints in the dust on the floor of the castle entrance way and noted that two others had gone inside, maybe a few more than two, he couldn't quite tell. So he wasn't the only one given a legendary... he probably should have figured as much since other trainers with legendaries had cropped up in other places. Oh well.

Rayquaza took to the skies silently once more now as the young man made his way as well inside the dusty castle. He looked around as he did so, easily spotting two females, one with a Growlithe and the other a protective Sylveon. He moved over to them, curious as to what their legendaries might be. "Hello. I hope I'm not intruding, ladies... but were you also given a letter by a Sienna?" he asked curiously in a courteous manner. He was truly curious about what this was all about. First off, how did this Sienna get a legendary and second, what tests was she performing and what happened to those that failed? Either way, he was hoping to get some answers for both himself and his village elders.

♔ Kieran Charlie Donovan
male // arceus, blaziken, charizard, staraptor, glaceon, manectric, loppuny // tagged;; chelsea, jay
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

The seventeen year old trainer stepped foot onto the grounds of the castle, which to his very surprise was quite large, yet run down and probably old. His bright blue eyes darted around the old castle, finding nothing but a few wild pokémon running around, all seeming to be playful and cute. However, Kieran knew better than to approach any pokémon without caution, no matter how small it was. He learned that from his loppuny, who was but a small little buneary when he met her. Roxy had certainly put up quite a fight, almost freezing him solid in the process. However, he was happy to have learned from that experience and has never again underestimated any pokémon.

Kieran took out his premier ball, the ball that his legendary companion rested in. It was to commemorate the day that Arceus was sent to Kieran, and that was a day he would never forget. The shock and surprise that he felt as a fourteen year old boy when the legendary popped out of the white pokéball was beyond anything he had ever felt. However, along with that he received a strange letter that explained, kind of, why he had received such a pokémon. Whatever the real reason was he was proud to be Arceus's partner and friend and has been with the legendary for about three years now. The new letter that he received not three days ago was what had brought him to this location. It was nothing like he had ever seen before. He wasn't one that liked to be around expensive castles, but instead just be in the city with lots of things to do. It seemed that the grounds contained many trees and flowers, but the castle itself was really what caught Kieran's attention.

As he clutched onto the premier ball and gazed up at the enormous building, small voices were heard from inside. He looked at the door, but he knew that he should never enter an unknown building alone. He threw up the premier ball and said "Arceus come on out." The ball opened almost immediately to reveal a large legendary pokémon standing near the trainer. Kieran put the pokéball back onto his belt and looked up at the legendary, saying "About three years ago i got that letter from someone that lives here, someone named Sienna. She sent you to be my partner and i am glad she did. However, it is finally time to meet her and figure out why she actually did all of this. You ready to meet her?" Arceus looked down at his human friend and gave a simple nod. That was all Kieran needed to proceed into the building.

However, a couple of voices and rustling in the trees caught his attention. He lifted his hand from the door and looked up at Arceus who was gazing into the forest as to figure out what, or who, was in there. Kieran took a deep breath and traveled away from the door and into the trees. He followed the voices into the woods and soon found a male with a buizel and a girl with a lucario and a latios with her. He noticed that they were in the middle of a conversation, but he slowly made his ways out of the trees and up to them, saying "I am sorry to interrupt, but i see that you have a Latios with you. I guess that means you are here to see Sienna as well?" It only made sense, since the girl had a legendary pokémon with her.

Dell Fletcher: Empoleon, Houdini [Houndour], Shaymin, Jolteon [Volt], Joltik, Spheal, Zebstika [Jazz].

Dell was slightly late to the meeting place, almost being the last one there. He preferred to take things at his own pace, always keeping a nice and calm rhythm when traveling. Most of his pokemon were outside with him; Shaymin was sitting in his arms, Joltik was napping in his shirt pocket, and Tide was keeping pace beside him while his slightly runty Houdini walked in front of him. Spheal, Volt, and Jazz were all resting in their pokeballs. It was clear by thesight of his team that he seemed to stick with his three favorite types: Electric, Dark, and Water. Shaymin was the oddball of the team, being a Grass type. When she arrived carrying a letter almost as big as herself, Dell was quick to scoop up the tired creature. A day hasn't passed that he hasn't wondered who Sienna is. Dell came to a stop at the drawbridge and looked up.

"Woah." He muttered, looking up at the grand building. His slender fingers were absentmindedly rubbing Shaymin's ears while he gazed at the towering structure before him. He looked back down only when he heard Houdini start growling. Dell's eyebrows crinkled slightly before determining that the person who had sent him Shaymin and left her in his care all these years wouldn't bring him back now just to harm him. Dell walked casually across the drawbridge to the other side and turned around to see that Empoleon and Houdini were both still at the foot of the wooden planks. Empoleon was staring up at the castle while Houdini was softly growling. "Empoleon," Dell called and the giant penguin looked down to meet the boy's gaze. She seemed to determine that the castle was safe enough for now and crossed the drawbridge, being careful to avoid he rotted spots. "Come on Houdini, it'll be alright." He said persuasively, but the Houndour wasn't having it. Dell sighed, raising one eyebrow a tad. "Fine. You can stay in your pokeball for a while I guess." He mumbled and detatched a small Dark Ball from his belt before clicking the center button and saying "Return." Dell turned to go inside the castle only when a stream of light had sucked Houdini into the capsule.

With the invitation held in his hand, Jakub looked up for a moment to look onto the land that laid ahead of him. It was vastly different than what he had grown up in. A soft gasp of amazement escaped his lips and he looked sideways at Dreambert as he floated forward and twirled in the air happily. The Wish Pokemon seemed overly happened to be going to this dream-like place and he wouldn't lie, he was excited as well. Quickly, he crumpled up the invitation once again and stuffed it in the side pouch of his backpack before trekking on forward. Dreambert followed his trainer closely, not wanting to get left behind and be lost with no idea of where he was going.

Faintly, the boy could make out the sounds of other voices, but he wasn't certain of where they were coming from and it was rather annoying to him. Uncertainty was something he wasn't fond of one bit. Quietly, he ran his fingers through his messy brown hair and glanced at his Pokemon once more. Jirachi had stopped briefly to listen to the sounds of the voices and after a moment of silence, he cooed happily and twirled forward like he had done before. For some reason the legendary Pokemon seemed overly happy in this area and had never acted in such a way before. Typically he was hard to handle and rather stubborn much like himself, but now he was happy and playful. It amazed Jakub how quickly the Pokemon's attitude could change.

After a moment of standing still, the boy began to move once more, trying to follow the sound of the voices. Maybe one of them would know where to find Sienna, the one whom had sent him his invitation to this place. Even though he was never overly excited about interacting with others, he knew he couldn't find his way all by himself and he would need to figure out where Sienna was located sooner or later and if the people he was hear had a clue, then he would need to use them simply to find the girl. It didn't mean he would need to become friends with them, just use them to find his way.

Isabella Rose Hathaway || Post 2

Postby Little Rebel » Tue Jan 27, 2015 1:45 pm

    Isabella Rose Hathaway
Excuse me, but do you know exactly what we are doing here? The voice was decidedly feminine and came from behind her. Isabella had been in the hall for precisely five minutes, studying the portraits hung there, when the girl arrived. She had known something was off by the way Growlie had focused his gaze towards the foyer with that intensely alert look he got when strangers approached. So it wasn't the girl's voice that surprised her. It wasn't even the Sylveon's obvious aggression. It was that the girl seemed to take no pride whatsoever in her appearance. The girl must have thought the look of abject horror on her face had something to do with her Sylveon, because she immediately began to aplogize while her face became a very unfortunate shade of red.

I'm sorry if she spooks you pokemon. Vee can be a little...protective, She said apologetically, stroking the Sylveon's head as if to calm the Pokémon. Isabella slid a glance towards Growlie, who appeared wary and alert but not spooked in the least. He wouldn't attack or anything... so long as the Sylveon didn't. Turning back to the girl, she studied her silently for a long moment. She was pretty enough... with her sandy brown hair and baby blue eyes. But her clothes... they left much to be desired. Her black blouse was tucked into a red shirt and her black stockings ans flats were horribly drab. The bow tie was tacky at best... and the hat was unimpressive. If she was going for the simpleton look... or maybe a paupers appearance... she had nailed it.

Izzy cleared her throat, realizing she should speak before she started to look like a mute, when another voice caused her to jump. This time, Growlie had given no notice. He was too busy keeping an eye on the Sylveon. This voice was masculine, and there was something very courteous about his tone. For some reason... that irritated her.
Hello. I hope I'm not intruding, ladies... but were you also given a letter by a Sienna? He asked. She turned towards him and looked him slowly up and down. He dressed better than the girl and had blue-black hair that looked as if he had just rolled out of bed-which, she hated to admit, was kind of charming-and dark eyes that almost looked gray. She replied automatically, and though she didn't mean for it to, her tone came across as slightly haughty.

Noooo, we're just wandering around a dusty old castle for the fun of it! She scoffed, rolling her eyes in annoyance. These people were keeping her from finding Lily. The Mew was an excellent Pokémon... but was easily distracted at times. Reaching for her belt, she grabbed one of her Pokéballs. It was a normal Pokéball. Her first. Inside, her starter Pokémon, Quil, slept peacefully. She debated whether or not to send him to track Lily. But before she could the pink Pokémon landed on her head. She was so accustomed to the Pokémon landing on her head that she didn't even jump. Replacing the Pokéball, she reached up and grabbed the Mew, settling it in her arms.

Cass swallowed under the diminishing glare of the red-haired girl. She was quite beautiful, but she had a sort of anger about her. No, it wasn't anger. It was more...aloofness? Was that the word? Cass couldn't quite place her finger on it, but she knew that she didn't really like it. It made her feel...small. Sensing her unease, Xerneas strode back from the shadows to rest by Cass. The pokemon trainer placed her hand on Xerneas' soft blue fur, comforted by his presence. Another form stepped out of the shadows, making Cass jump. It was a male, this time, with a rather cool demeanor. He just seemed...relaxed. Refreshing, after the first greeting she had received.

Choosing to ignore the red-haired girl's snide remark, Cass turned to the newcomer and smiled. Well, it wasn't really a smile, but more of a half face twitch with a slight eyebrow raise. Recognition of existence was probably the term one could use for that. "What she means, I think, is that we have the same amount of information as you do. I'm Castella Winthrop, by the way. Just Cass is fine, though." Xerneas nudged her in the back. Always the social butterfly. Xerneas, we've only just met. And besides, handshakes spread all sorts of germs, she thought to the pokemon. She didn't need to shake hands with everyone.

Glancing up at the towering ceiling, Cass took a moment to revel in her surroundings once more. She wasn't normally one to get really excited about things, but this architecture truly was astounding. And then Cass noticed the red-haired girl's Mew."Oh, it's adorable! Is this the legendary that the mysterious Sienna gave to you? Xerneas and I have always thought Mew was quite the impressive pokemon," said Cass, actually smiling this time. She was pretty quiet around people, but pokemon really brought out her inner pokedex.

"Mew is said to possess the genetic composition of all Pokémon. It is capable of making itself invisible at will, so it entirely avoids notice even if it approaches people," Cass recounted, reciting verbatim the poked entry. "But this one seems rather outgoing. How did you train it so, if you did at all?"

Jay surveyed the girl, accepting her handshake. He had to admit, the Latios kind of intimidated him. But he was certain that it was friendly, no matter how protective. Jay tried to believe the best in everyone, choosing to see them as inherently good over evil. "I think," Jay finally began, "that if we go inside together, it won't be as scary." Foreboding things were always better when you had a friend to share them with. You are so incredibly cheesy, thought Jay to himself. Come on, Jay, no one wants to hear that sappy crap. She probably thinks you're a loon now.

Gesturing towards the entrance of the castle, Jay began to walk, his Buizel Torro winding nervously around his feet. "This is Torro, in case you were wondering," he said, scratching the weasel between the ears. "He prefers ponds." Wow, Jay just could not speak today. Before they had covered much ground, however, another trainer approached, a shimmering Arceus by his side, asking about the mysterious Sienna they all seemed to be here for.

"Sienna would be nice to see," Jay replied. "Perhaps if she didn't live in such a creepy old castle we'd go out for tea more often." Jay sighed at his odd sense of humor. It always showed itself at the strangest of times. "I'm afraid we don't know that much about what's going on. We were planning on heading into the castle. Care to join us?"

Torro let out a yelp at Jay's feet, distracting him momentarily. It seemed as though the three trainers were not alone. Reaching into his jacket, Jay pulled out two poke balls: an empty one for Torro and a silvery one containing his legendary pokemon, Suicune, or as she was affectionately known, Aura. Clicking the buttons, Jay recalled his Buizel and, with a shimmer of light, set free his Suicune. "Hey, Aura. Mind scouting ahead for us? We don't want to walk into anything we can't handle." The dog-like pokemon simply nodded and floated away, her tendrils flowing gently.

Jay turned back to the newcomer with the Arceus. "I'm Jay, and this is Chelsea. I don't believe I caught your name."

Isabella Rose Hathaway || Post 3

Oh, it's adorable! Is this the legendary that the mysterious Sienna gave to you? Xerneas and I have always thought Mew was quite the impressive pokemon, The girl, Castella she had said, was suddenly quite animated as she moved forward to inspect the Pokémon. The Mew cocked her head curiously, head tilting to the side. Really, Lily had always been a rather outgoing Pokémon. But part of it was also that she spent so much time performing that there really was no room for shyness.

Mew is said to possess the genetic composition of all Pokémon. It is capable of making itself invisible at will, so it entirely avoids notice even if it approaches people... But this one seems rather outgoing. How did you train it so, if you did at all? She continued, a smile now lighting her face. Distantly, Isabel noted that Cass would actually be a lot prettier if she smiled more. But if her interest in the Pokémon was any indication... she cared more about Pokémon than people. Of course, Izzy was one to talk. She cared more about her Pokémon than she did most people. But she was also comfortable around others. Cass clearly wasn't.

If you must know... it is because Lily is a star. She spends so much time in front of an audience, any shyness she might have possessed was eradicated long ago. Izzy released the Mew who floated around the small group for a moment before she focused on the Sylveon with interest. Her shape began to shift and change until she dropped to the ground on four paws, a perfect replica of the aggressive Sylveon. Her fur stood on end as she pretend glared at the real Vee.

Isaac was a little taken aback by the snide remark but didn't show it. He supposed he should have expected it with how fancy she dressed but he never liked to assume. He just ignored it though as he simply gave an embarrassed smile, looking at the other girl as she answered him with a much more appropriate answer. "Of course. My apologies," he replied, noting down the girl's name as well as her legendary who soon stepped forth. Xerneas and Mew... too bad Rayquaza couldn't fit in here as he saw how Castella's attitude soon changed from being almost shy to quite delighted at seeing the Mew legendary. "Agreed. I must say, your Mew, Lily you called it?, but yes, it's in quite excellent health," he agreed with Castella before taking a pokeball from his belt. It was an obvious custom-made one that seemed to resemble a Rayquaza. All of his pokeballs were custom-made that way however.

He clicked the center, letting out his Flygon who immediately cheered at being set free, stretching. Echo blinked and looked at everyone curiously before giving another cheer at seeing possible friends as she flitted into the air and twirled around Castella and Xerneas with a coo before repeating the gesture with Lily and her trainer, asking the Mew to play with her. Isaac smiled as he watched his playful Flygon try to make friends. "That's Echo, my Flygon. My legendary is Rayquaza so you can imagine why he's not inside with me," he mused before looking at the unknown trainer. "As for who I am, Isaac Corway, Dragon Master and Tamer from the Hoenn Region. And you? I take it you're a coordinator right? Isabella Hathaway if I'm correct?" he asked curiously. Having been in a few Contests, he knew a lot of the big shots in the coordinating business and this girl, now that he thought about it, seemed strikingly familiar. He was sure he'd competed against her a few times though he had to admit, she was lacking in the battle skills department.

|| Chelsea Kairen || Latios, Strider the Mightyena, Arya the Luxio, Skye the Noivern, Slade the Arcanine, Bolt the Sceptile, Clint the Lucario ||

As Jay began to speak again Chelsea listened and, honestly, she liked the idea of not having to go into the castle on her own, though she wouldn't have used the word scary to describe the experience. "Sounds good to me, could do with some company in a place like that, especially if you're also going to meet this Sienna girl." She said, trying to seem rather nonchalant about it all. As Jay began to walk Chelsea followed behind him, Clint and Latios following closely at her side, she looked at the Buizel as his name was given to her and she smiled down at it, "Good to meet you Torro, this is Clint and Latios." She said, gesturing to her Lucario and Latios in their own turn.

They had walked but a few steps when another trainer had come into their sights, one who stood beside the magnificent Arceus, as he addressed them it became more than apparent that he was looking for Sienna as well. "Yeah a few years ago Sienna sent me this Latios here and by my assumptions I guess that she sent you that Arceus standing beside you?" She asked him. Chelsea caught Jay's comment and gave a faint laugh and a smile, Jay was a rather odd fellow yet still, he didn't seem to car if others thought badly of him.

She heard the Buizel begin to react to something and watched as Jay released the dazzling water Pokemon Suicune, then watching as it went off to scout the local area. She looked at her two Pokemon, Clint appeared to be rather wary, something was certainly ahead, Latios was already nervous at simply having so many strangers around but even he appeared to be a little nervous of the surrounding area. Something was definitely off, Chelsea had drifted off into her own thoughts about what may lie ahead of them, yet she still heard as Jay introduced them to the newcomer.

A star? Cass thought, her eyebrows knitting together. She had never thought much of pokemon coordination, and always believed that the creatures were too noble to be displayed in front of an audience to entertain. But, she supposed, if the pokemon enjoyed it, who was she to judge. "Well, it's certainly refreshing to see such...oh, no." Before Cass could say anything, the lively mew dropped to the ground, mirroring Vee perfectly. It was surely all in good fun, but Vee wasn't exactly the "in good fun" type of pokemon, and she was quite the queen. The true Sylveon puffed out like a cat, arching her back and furrowing her brow. Her ears flat against her head, Vee raised a paw and bopped the imitation pokemon on the nose.

"Vee!" Cass cried, scooping up the aggressive eeveelution. The pokemon's flowing tendrils wrapped around Cass's arms like ribbons, and Vee turned her head towards her trainer, sniffing in disgust. She seemed to be tattling on the Mew, like a snotty child. Cass had to hold herself back from laughing at the diva, but she knew the pokemon's trouble was real, so she calmed herself. "Here, Vee. Sit with Xerneas where the scary Mew can't bother you anymore." Placing the Sylveon on Xerneas's back, Cass turned back to face the other trainers.

"I'm sorry about that. Vee's not really my pokemon. She's more Xerneas's." It was true. The little Sylveon had nestled between the legendary's shoulder blades, licking one paw affectionally, and occasionally reaching up to groom Xerneas's furry blue ears. "She just tolerates the rest of my team and me," Cass said, rubbing her hands together.

To be honest, Cass felt a little self conscious around these other, obviously high-class pokemon trainers. They had entered competitions and actually won prizes for their work with pokemon. Cass was really just an observer. She hadn't imagined herself as much of anything before she had received Xerneas, and even though she chose to train pokemon, she would have much prefer to befriend them than fight with them or use them for shows. More often than not, it was the pokemon that found and attached themselves to her, rather than her seeking out the pokemon. It was painfully obvious that Cass's odd profession was the minority among the present company.

Before much conversation could continue, the Suicune came drifting back towards the trio of pokemon trainers. "Alright, Aura! Did you find anything worthwhile?" asked Jay, stroking the legendary's violet mane. The pokemon simply nodded toward the doors, flicking it's tail back and forth. "Well, I suppose that means no danger," Jay said, although he was still kind of nervous to go inside. Usually, when feelings such as that did arise, Jay hid them well with a mask of humor and goofiness. It tended to lighten the mood, and he could tell that they were all a little wary to enter the castle.

Gesturing towards the grand building, Jay began to walk slowly towards the entrance, placing a hand on Aura for comfort and support. He could hear noises inside the building, and guessed that some other trainers were inside as well. "I guess the best time is the present, when talking about dusty old castles," Jay murmured, half to himself. Again, he hid the gravity of the situation with lighthearted remarks. And it wasn't like they were in any real danger; Aura would have surely warned them of something if the latter were true.

As Jay finally made his way through the doors, he caught sight of the entrance hall and drew a breath, both amazed and rather confused. It was truly grand, and Jay could see that it had once been in its prime, with drapes hanging from the walls and what looked like a gigantic ballroom in the chamber ahead. Paintings adorned the walls, and the floor was surely polished marble or granite. But what confused Jay was the state of disrepair at which he found the interior of the building. If the Sienna character could afford to live in a castle, one might think she could afford some sort of cleaning crew. Everything was dusty, causing Jay to sneeze, only stirring up more dust. "Anyone see someone who as a sort of Sienna vibe to them?" he asked, looking back at the other two trainers.
