She sat up and dipped her head apologetically to him. "We should have been more considerate."

Daffodiltail said nothing as she lay back down and gazed up at the sky.

"Of course," Foxcloud said, stepping back. She padded to Tidestar. "I haven't done a very good job of holding things down."

"I don't know if I can," Lionfang said.

Cloverfeather looked down at her paws guiltily before she faced him. Her expression had changed, "I'm so sorry, Lionfang. I didn't know that our flirting made you so uncomfortable. I'll stop it. And, like Daffodiltail said, you don't have to even pick from us. We want you to have a happy life, no matter who you may pick as a mate. I just don't want this to keep us from all of us remaining friends."

(Snowfoot fell from a tree and died and now the cats are getting ready to sit vigil for her and Tidestar came back. I have Ripplestripe, Seabreeze, and Goldenface open.)
